Does Flores count? Pretty sure he got an interview last go round.

Yep. I wouldn’t hate it all things considered. About our most attainable decent coach I think.

Really like what he’s doing with that defense.

Any up-and-comer on that staff he can bring as an OC?

Nick Olivari, says it should be Brian Flores only, and offer him the house.

Fair point about Monken’s head coach record, but I reiterate that USM was a disaster when he took over. 0-12 the year before he got there. One of the least talented teams in CFB. His first year accounts for a lot of losses. He built a college team from the ashes without transfer portal or NIL (Deion had those advantages).
Plus, since he was a head coach, he was OC for Tampa Bay, Georgia during their championship years, and Baltimore OC for two years.
I think he is uniquely qualified to both know the pain of taking over a losing team and know how two of the best teams in CFB and NFL (Georgia and Baltimore) operate.

You should see where USM was when he got there vs when he left. He did a great job at usm

you really think his comments would not negatively resonate with black players. What player is going to perform their best when they have to wonder if the coach believes disgusting things about them as a human being?

Probably be ok as long as you aren’t a massive pussy. Gruden did 25 years in the league, coached a lot of guys, don’t think you can find a player that speaks ill of his character. Even after the email leak

Flores is a great DC, but I really don’t want him as a HC

I'd be good with McCarthy.

I got roasted for saying Gruden yesterday but it really makes a lot sense for us at this point.

I’d be lying if I told you I knew who did what under O’Connell who I think is one of the best coaches in the league.

Gruden
Vrable
Glenn

Side note
*I think McCarthy stays in Dallas so didn’t include him BUT while at first was against it - I don’t know- we need someone to come in with a strong presence and set the standard. They are playing hard for him currently.

Biggest thing DA failed to do - as a result the water was coming in and all we had was a Dixie cup

As you should be. Hilarious that people spent the last two years complaining about constantly getting Raiders castoffs but now want Gruden.
