who will make the roster?

Jaylon Smith. Dude looked really impressive in the first half for a guy we signed not even 2 weeks ago

I agree on Jaylon Smith.

Payton Turner has impressed me. Looks like a quality starter/key contributor. I was certain he was going to be a bust

TE Davis going to make it a hard decision to keep Jimmy Graham or move on to Davis.

Shaq Davis is a WR. Looks like a TE though

Became an immediate lock to make the roster. He could be pretty valuable in 3LB sets or if someone goes down, god forbid.

Turner was actually solid last year when he played, so his strong play isn’t a surprise per se, it’s just unusual to see

A lot of this preseason shite can be fools gold tho. For every Victor Cruz there’s a ton of guys who ball out but end up as practice squad guys who now are harder to keep/develop bc now everyone knows about them.

That being said Shaq Davis is that dude this preseason.

Mal Roach and Turner on D, need them to carry it over

Kendre Miller flashing in the pass game, and Haener rebounding are also encouraging

I’d expect Jaylon Smith to play well in preseason

AT Perry for me ... based on the terrible reviews he was getting in training camp, I thought he was another Kawan Baker

I have to go with Perry also. He's a keeper, looks like a steal in the 6th round.

I think Davis is like 189lbs.

I can't go with one.
Davis, AT and MT at WR.
Turner and Kaylen on Dline.
Perry Lb'er

Saints have some nice options to develop a WR to take Thomas place in 2 yrs. I hope they keep rookie QB. I like him alot. Carr looks like a true QB out there. Rookie QB has potential. He can replace Winston. Saints can save 12 mil off the cap too.

I'm calling it

Blake Grupe wins PK spot. Especially with the Broncos interested in trading for one of them. More leverage in a trade with the vet.

I think Amadi and Howden beat out Abrams, Grey and Monday for the safety spots. If 5 safeties are kept i'd be surprised if it wasn't Abrams.

Not sure how the numbers work out but I would be surprised to see Lalos and Orji make the 53. Foskley has been terrible and I don't think the team reached for him in the 2nd, I just think he'd shell shocked and not transitioning as well as you should have seen. (Not saying hell get cut but It wouldn't be a total shocker at this point)

No Niko Lalos? I guess ST love fades quickly.

I think there is still a lot of love for Lalos, just questions if he's done enough to make the final 53.

Seems like Abram has had a really quiet training camp/preseason. Not really a good thing for someone trying to make that 4th/5th safety spot
Gray always has that inside path to keeping a roster spot because of how he excels on STs. IMO, this keeps him as the 5th safety over Abram; could also give him an inside track to the 4th spot if the team thinks they can get 1 of the other guys onto the PS.

I think Nephi Sewell has earned a job.
