I had a buddy that was sitting around that area and he said Cam went up to the kid and gave him a signed hat after the game.

lol @ the people who thought it was terrible he threw it in the can. I thought it was pretty funny of Newton actually.

I despise Cam Newton. That was funny though and I think he handled that with a good attitude. The guy screaming "Classy Cam" and the woman shrieking "he's a kid" were both idiots. He's not going to sign a fricking dustpan that seeks to mock him. That he was willing to be playful and good natured with the Saints fans during that was pretty cool.

I’m no fan of Cam. But it was a meaningless game for both sides. God forbid these guys have a little fun on the sidelines.

I agree with all of this.
On the other hand, Cam could have just ignored them, but he obliged and played their little game. He won and they got butthurt.
From what I hear off the field Cam is a great dude that gives a lot back to the community and does a lot for kids.
On the field and at pressers he’s a douche.
I have no problem with what he did.

This may be the best Cam has ever conducted himself around a football field.
Looks like he was taking it in stride and laughing about it. The kid got more attention from Cam than he probably deserved. Supposedly Cam came back and gave the kid a signed hat afterwards.

you should get the stick removed from your arse too... it’s the last game of the season that didn’t mean shite to the panthers. I hate Cam as much as anyone else, but he was joking around with a kid trying to troll him and tight wad assholes such as yourself are too dense to see it....
