Burrow imo is gonna be a great NFL QB. I love MT but I would absolutely make that trade. Normally I’d say you don’t trade unproven (in the NFL) talent for proven talent. I’m just that confident about Burrow. He’s so intelligent, accurate, quick release, athletic, confident, and a good arm. Damn he’s good. Plus you’d save a lot of money lol. I can’t think of another person I’d trade MT for

As much as I like Thomas getting a great qb on this team on a rookie contract would be amazing.

Would have a lot of cap space with Brees and Thomas gone.

Yea and just knowing, imo at least, we’d have a great QB for 15 plus years. It would really really suck to lose MT though.

Absolutely. Especially if Brees gone. MT one of my favorite saints but you always take the franchise qb. It would likely take MT and multiple first/second rounders.

We'd have to trade with Cincinnati and they have an immediate need for a QB. They're also notoriously difficult to make trade deals with.

It's a gamble but Burrow looks like an exceptional talent at the most important position. He could set us up for a whole new era after Brees in a way that MT could never
