Beat out Dwayne Haskins for a QB job.
Break the SEC record for most passing yards in a season.
Stop all the ridiculous Joe Burrow threads on Saints Talk.

Thomas would be tough because he can be among the league’s best WR for a long, long time.

I would trade Kamara though. This is gonna get downvotes, but I’ve not been thrilled with his play this year (likely due to injuries) and RBs have shorter shelf lives. He’s special, I can clearly see that, but RBs are a dime a dozen. We got him in the 3rd round after all.

Legit long term good NFL starting QBs don’t grow on trees and you must have one to win in this league. It’s a more important position. Burrow has all the tools to be that for the next 10-15 years.

I'm embarrassed that so many said yes to this.

Why? You think it’s easier to get legit franchise QB with the pick we used for MT?

He catches what, 6-8 per game? And that’s only if he has a QB that can throw it to him.

A QB throws 20-30+ passes/game. It’s much easier to shut down a single WR than a great QB from a defensive perspective.

Seems easy to me.

Fully aware. A great QB goes a lot farther than a WR of you can’t get the ball to him. In Madden or real life.

Just as many "sure thing" QB prospects turn out to be not so sure things as often as they hit...probably more.

9 catches per game

Sure, if Burrow was an actual lock to be a franchise QB. But he's not.

You are not aware ... NFL trades are almost always picks. Throwing Kamara and Thomas in will never happen.

Why would a bottom dweller team want the highest paid WR in the league?

While trading the whole draft for him would be stupid, that trade is a nobrainer.

Even with busts like Russell, Leaf and others almost any team would have traded the top receiver for the number one QB in the next draft.

In the Saints situation it would explode our available cap room with Thomas and Brees contracts gone.

Who would Burrow throw too?
The Saints current WRs and TEs are trash Besides Thomas and cook when he is on.

You're asking would you trade CGM for the #1 pick in the draft? First of all Cincy would never make that trade but if they did, yes, you absolutely have to take it.

SEC single-season passing leaders:

4,279 Joe Burrow, LSU, 2019

4,275 Tim Couch, Kentucky, 1998

Hmmm...

I'll name one: claim to have accomplished anything in the NFL. Yet you want to trade a Hall of Fame caliber wide receiver in his prime for him. Stick to fake wrestling. Your opinions on actual sports are laughable.
