As much as I hate Toast (aka Jason David) I would have to say TuSucky Jones. Jones had no heart once he got here.

Who was the guy (LB signed from the colts?) that got arrested on Bourbon St. WITHIN HOURS of signing his FA deal? And wasn't he the same guy that broke Cam Cleeland's eye socket in the hazing incident?

Andre Royal. Now that guy was classy.

Jason David was terrible, but Jones wasn't much better...

Pretty sure he was here during the Ditka days. I think he was the guy they showed Ditka, riding in a golf cart and the player was mouthing off and Ditka says" I never wanted you here anyway".

Didn't he come from Chicago the same year Ironhead went to Chicago. I think he was our leading rusher for a year.

I think he was the leading bike rider.

For the price Haynes wasn't good but he wasn't in the absolute bust category

That does remind me of a another legit nominee...

DALE CARTER CB

Wow, I lived far away from Who Dat territory when this signing occurred. I had to live with a lot of derision over that one. Literal laughing at the Saints... "They signed THAT 3 time loser coke head?!?!"

Wasn't the plan to have his brother in law or whomever "watch after him"?

I can't remember his name but he was the WR that came over from Minnesota. John something maybe?

Made some big catches as a Saint. We had decent receivers for a little while there. Joe Horn, Jerome Pathon, Jake Reed and Willie Jackson were all pretty good. I think we had Donte Stallworth then too.

Agreed. Far from the worst FA they have signed.

Once known as "Jefferson Street Joe" Gilliam of the Steelers, became "Bourbon Street Joe", druggie QB in the 70s.

His stint with the Saints in '76 doesn't even make Wikipedia.

Definitely at the top.

I saw someone mention Tebucky Jones. Didn't we trade for him?
