Watched top 10 worst FA signings on NFL network last night. Saints didn't have anybody in the top 10 but it got me thinking. Who was the worst?

Albert Connell comes to mind

Kevin Kaesviharn. How come we didn't sign Nick Luchey after that Cincinnati debacle too?

#1 was anybody the redskins sign. Emmitt smith to arizona, scott Mitchell to Detroit, Alvin harper to TB, Neil o donnell to nyj, Desmond Howard, Kerry Collins, and Larry brown to Oakland . Andre Rison to Cleveland was also on the list

Sort of, he was an RFA, so it cost us a 3rd rounder IIRC.

Yeah, I don't think Smith cost them a lot and I doubt they expected him to be a super player at his age.

Considering the $ they make, Haynesworth, Delhomme, Cassel, and Nate Clements have been pretty terrible recent signings.

Can we count Charles Grant even though he was an extension?

Jason David by far. He singlehandedly set the Saints back 2 years. He'd probably still be here if not for Gregg Williams.

Jason David was pretty bad, but it's true that this made him look much worse. With good safety play, he wouldn't have been exposed nearly as often or as badly.
