Didn't we have a 4th or 5th rounder in that draft not even make it through preseason?

Khari Fortt got cut but it was final cuts. That draft as a whole was a shitshow outside of Cooks. Vinnie Sunseri was the second best player with a two year career as a special teamer.

I would say that a 2nd round bust is not as bad as a 1st round bust that you trade away picks to get.

Foskey doesn’t get it and never will.

Bust.

SJB made one tackle in his NFL career, and it wasn't for us. PFF shows he played 8 defensive plays total.

That doesn’t count, we are only living in what happened in the past 3 years

Jonathan Sullivan, considering we trade two 1st rounders to move up to get him.

You can also debate Charles Brown, SJB, Rick Leonard, Foskey, Antonio Pittman, Kikaha. At least in Pittman’s case he was beat out by Pierre Thomas.

I was also coming here to say SJB says hello. Dude played WR at Nebraska until his junior year of college and the Saints burned a 2nd round pick on him to play corner.

Payton Turner #1
Caesar Ruiz #1
Trevor Penning #1
Marcus Davenport #1 plus more than I want to remember

All 4 have more production. Ruiz is a multi year starter.

If you honestly think Foskey is the worst pick of the Loomis era, your either 5 years old or just pretending to be a Saints fan.

He is terrible but not the worst by far. Shawn Knight, DE, the 11th overall pick in 1987 has that distinction. He played in 10 games and had no stats. He was traded after his rookie season and was completely out the league within 2 years. But that was before Loomis so I guess he gets a pass on how bad the bar is…..

The Eagles will pick him up. Then he will go all pro.

Yeah he’s weird, he had good size, a good combine, and a very productive college career.

I get what they saw in him and it wasn’t like he was a reach, he’s just a total bust
