Last full season as a starter threw 30 INT'S. The over and under number is 15. What say you Who Dat nation?
My guess is over at 16.

What an exciting Friday night you must be having to make this thread.

Over. He throws #16 in the 1st quarter of the super bowl before throwing 4 TDs to earn mvp. You kick your dog

Under. He doesn’t make those stupid throws anymore.

Under he only had 3 in in 7 games last year. I think 2 he got stepped on and wasn’t his fault anyway.

Yep. We're going to throw the ball more this year.

in 5 full seasons, he has had 1 15 int season, 2 under and 2 over.
Last season, in 7 games, he had 3. That put him on pace for 7-8 in 17 games.
I'll say under.
Edited to correct last years Ints totals

Last season, he had 3.
1 at the end of the first half against Carolina (was a little ill advised as we were somewhat in fg range) he was getting hit as he threw.
1 on the last play of the game against Carolina when we were down 20. Again he was getting hit as he threw.
1 against the Redskins. Peat stepped on his foot as he threw.
Receivers also dropped upwards of 5 tds last year.
Jameis ended with a 14-3 TD to INT ratio which is great, but it wasn’t that far off from being a 20-0 ratio.
Which is why these fricking dumb arse threads always make me scoff. It’s like people didn’t even watch the games at all last year.

will we care if he throws 17 TDs if he also throws 45 TDs?

I'll correct, not sure how I did that lol

Every QB gets away with some every year. First DB's are not WR's for a reason... well most of the time. Second, it is a really hard thing to intercept a ball in the NFL, their goal is to defend, not catch. The break up the pass they win, the interceptions are gravy.

Ge said the year under Drew Bress really helped him grow up as a football player and make better decisions. We shall see

Big outlier. He averaged about 15 prior to that.
Anyone on here know what happened that year? He was on a pretty conservative track, then Suddenly he was throwing a ton more passes, and getting sacked nearly 50 times
Can that all be attributed to Arians and his big risk/reward philosophy?

I’m optimistic about Winston but if the 30 INT season was an outlier, so was last year… pretty obvious CSP had him on a very short leash. Agree DA will let him go a lot more which is going to add to the risk/reward calculation. I still say under though.
