Saints should not even have to think about that. No way they pay him that much if they were not willing to offer him the contract they offered to Meredith.

Sucks, but he did fall off for us last year. I think he could probably rebound, but... I think a change of scenery would be better.

i don't get what you think your point is? Was Willie Snead last year the real Willie Snead? Why else do you think he was not the real Willie Snead aside from coming back from his 3 game suspension and then injury as well as getting back into shape mixed with a lot of falling out of favor with staff?

Not at all. But your comparison to Meredith, who had a torn ACL, doesn't hold water.

These are pretty good bum qualifications. But call it what you will. Snead couldn't get it together last year, and he's even on record saying the staff was easing him back in slowly. So it's not like he was sabotaged in his attempt to return to form.
