Do the ravens just throw darts at a list of available receivers every year? They always seem to sign a ton but none of the signings ever seem to make sense.

i don't get the point of this argument when they play different WR roles. Snead is better at what he does and has proved it in this offense w nearly 1900 yards over 2 seasons.
Meredith is more of a vertical threat which is good but doesn't completely replace what Snead did for us.

Damn we absolutely stole Meredith.
Watch when Meredith destroys Willie snead in this offense.
We got Meredith for less than the ravens will pay willie

Calling one player more of a bum who actually got himself on field and was fighting through injuries and shape to help a team doesn't really make sense when comparing to a player who didn't take 1 snap. Meredith did Zero last year, inarguable fact.

1: Thomas
2: Meredith
3: Ginn
4: Coleman
5: Carr
6 (if necessary): Lewis
They're fine.
And by the way, when has a Saints FA WR under Payton showed anything with another team?
Robert Meachem and Lance Moore were below average when they left.
Devery Henderson didn't even make it to Redskins' training camp, I think.

One had a drunk for a QB. The other had Drew fricking Brees. You’re reaching here.

Because he didn't have a knee, dumbass.
If you want to make a legit comparison, let's see what Meredith does THIS year with the same QB.

Snead dealt with a hamstring and wasn't in shape. Snead's fault he's a bum, then Meredith's fault he was a bum.

i've already noted these WR's play different roles in the WR game. Is Meredith a Slot WR?

the same drunk qb who gave meredith the best pff numbers in the league? 14 game window we have on meredith, boy had 3 fumbles too. Guess that was the drunk's fault too.

So what exactly got Snead in the doghouse with the staff?
You know, if it was out of his hands and all?

Please tell me you don’t think hamstring issues are the same as blowing out your knee. Dear Christ
Posted on 4/20/18 at 10:20 am to Chad504boy
Now imagine what he could do with Drew Brees.

Did I say Snead's falling out of favor with staff over dwi issue was out of his hands and all?

My sleeper pick at 27 is Christian Kirk. I can see Payton just falling in love with him like he did Cooks.

Honestly, you aren't comprehending any points being made. You're sitting here piggy backing other posters' battles acting like a complete fricking fig. Getting to be put on IR cause of knee issue that doesn't allow you on the field doesn't get you a free bum pass vs a player battling hamstring issues causing lack of game shape. Snead was battling through a lot of adversity last year, not going to sit here and act like an imbecile over it calling him a bumb when he damn near produced back to back 1000 yard seasons prior.
And not one of you dipshits has really talked about the other cause of our offense that has taken a lot of our Snead like production away and that was Alvin Kamara last year. He became our short passing game threat and stick mover.

If you love Snead so much why don't you marry him.
Seriously though....he's not much of a loss. Not to say he wouldn't have contributed some, but nothing that we won't be able to replace.

Would actually be great. Would love a tough, scrappy, hard nosed, deceptively fast, gamer with great hands. Reminds me a lot of Jordy Nelson, Amandola, and Decker.

Lol. They probably could have signed him for much less than that and Saints wouldn’t have match it.
