The Saints after Payton leaves? This would be awesome. Not sure of this has been discussed on here before.

Don't have a link, just talking Saints with somebody and they brought this up.

I'm sorry but I don't think that's awesome.

ive never heard this. as long as he hires a great OC, then it would be a nice transition

he's already failed as a head coach, not sure I would want him, but we'll see what our defense becomes.

Top 5 defense on paper last year, but I would like to see a dominating force

Unless Payton is leaving for another team but when Payton retires I think Williams would be close to it too. They about the same age

Personally, I don't see Payton going anywhere. Shaun Payton is 47 and Williams is 52. Just don't see Williams taking the reins unless Payton screws up, and I mean really screws up.

Payton can't leave unless he is fired or he let's his contract run out.. Don't see either of those happening

Well he can leave, but he can't work for another NFL team.

I wouldn't mind Williams being the Saints HC but I doubt Payton will be retiring before he does.

If Payton remains married, then he will not coach for the Saints, long-term. He will coach, mind you, but not for the Saints.

Lots of rumors swirling around the real reasons behind why Payton moved to Dallas. It had zero to do with the family. Their children were devastated and crying in school. They had put down roots.

Sean payton likes to put his wiener inside women not named "Beth Payton".

Nobody denies this!

I think Jerry Jones had intentions for Jason Garrett to be Wade Phillips' replacement as HC. He made a lateral move from OC for a superbowl winning Giants to the Cowboys and was given nearly head coaching salary by Jones. I don't see how Payton fits in Dallas unless I'm missing something.

Neither do I. Did'nt he fail miserably in Buffalo as HC?

Gregg's 6 years older than Payton. Do you honestly think he is waiting for someone younger then him to retire so he can move into the head coaching position at the age of 74?
