I worry about this a little more with MT than Jarvis. And I’m not trying to put MT down or drag him through the mud. Olave is a rookie so he’ll take what he can get and better not bitch about it. But I could see MT getting a little perturbed about not getting enough throws. Maybe a little jealousy. Hopefully not, because we’ll be a damn good wr group with the potential to really light the league up.

I don’t know. During summer 2020 Drew Brees and Sean Payton sure didn’t have any balls.

Maybe the guys on the team now will be more courageous.

Imagine 500 attempts

Cgm 120
Landry 80
Olave 80
Kamara/Ingram 70
Hardy 40
Trautman 40
Callaway 30
Misc 40

You’re overthinking it.

If MT is healthy and ready to go, he will be the focal point of this offense. Everyone else except Kamara and maybe Hill will be role players.

If MT is aware of what could define his legacy in the NFL, he will not complain about this type of nonsense.

Career yards and receptions have been impacted by "injuries". Best to be a team player at this point in his remaining career with the Saints.

It is fully expected that he will come back strong and show out helping the team win.

No point in making dragons out of windmills.

Has MT ever bitched & complained about his level of usage or passes thrown his way in the offense?

As much as some posters on here want to portray him as a selfish POS DIVA, I’ve never really seen or heard that being an issue with MT. If I'm wrong LMK but I don’t think I am!!

Can’t
Guard
Mike

To answer OP’s question, it should be fine. We will likely throw more than last year given our WR group looks to be approximately 100x better. Thomas got an insane amount of targets towards the end of the Brees era. We can reduce his target share a decent amount and he’ll still be one of the leaders in production among WRs. If Thomas catches 90-100 balls instead of 130, and that coincides with winning, I’m sure he’ll be just fine.

We need to remember the field is twice as big as just two years ago with Brees.

There will be plenty of opportunities

He’s made a few rumblings here and there when not thrilled but nothing huge or out of line with his normal baseline drama

I believe the opposite of you. If there will be a problem, it will be with Landry. He’s on a “prove it” contract in line for his last big contract. If he believes he is not getting the ball enough, I can see the diva come out.

120 targets for a guy who hasn’t played in almost 2 years? Last I saw he was still trying to get rehabbed. We have no idea where he is with that.
