Ok, I get we were in cap hell, and they made some major moves to get under said cap. But why won't we pull the trigger on some of this big names on offense or defense? The draft may or may not produce weapons on offense, so why risk it?

We NEED a WR, and/or replacement for Jenkins, so why can't they work some magic and get a big name here?

Now I know we had a lot of big name busts such as, Bailey, Browner, Byrd, Spiller to name a few, but why not go after someone young, healthy and proven to be a force?

I figured we made so much headway to get under the cap to make a move, but it seems like we've signed, or resigned mediocre players only.

So stupid of them. Why not just sign all of the best players every year? I don’t get it.

Replacing Jenkins won’t be that hard

He was not that good, maybe earlier in his career. His second stop here was meh

At this point, there are a couple of timing situations in play. A lot of these guys are still demanding big money, as it gets closer to the draft the FAs begin to lose some leverage which could reduce their demands.

Also, there is a date (no idea when) in play that any FAs signed before that date would play into the comp pick calculations for Armstead & Williams next year. If that date is close, it would be smart to have an agreement in place w the player, then wait until after said date to sign to maximize 2023 comp picks

Forgot to add, that if the team believes the value isn’t there, they can just roll the unused cap into next year to make that year’s offseason a little easier. Unlikely is the case, but could be what they plan to do w some of this extra cap

Jenkins was not that good and people on here couldn’t take their black and gold shades off to see it

Look at what Tampa did....brought in Fournette, Gronk, AB, Brady, Suh, Barrett.

I mean imagine if Brees would have said, ok, I want this TE, this RB in addition to Kamara, this WR opposite Michael Thomas and this DE/DT to only add to our stout defense.

Look back at what we had with Graham, Sproles, Ingram, Colston, etc....

So you are telling me this is 100% performanced based opinion? No other factors are playing into Jenkins being "terrible" because he was far from it.

Its just hard for me to see someone say "take the shades off and dont be biased" when i think you have an agenda behind said opinion.

Jenkins singlehandedly destroyed Drew Brees' goodwill with 50% to 65% of Saints fans with a single insta post

If Jameson Williams is available when we pick do you pull that trigger?

Wouldn't shock me if they go Oline and I guess I wouldn't be disappointed if that's what they did.

We could always get a WR round 2 it's a deep class.

I love our Dline. Of course they all gotta stay healthy. Easier said than done. Especially with ole #92.

Maybe we take a run at Jarvis Landry?

And who are these young, proven, and healthy safeties and receivers you are referring too?

If you hate the politics so much, maybe you could boycott MLB and the NFL.

Oh wait…..
