Why do we have such plain endzones?

The 1990s and early 2000s black endzones were tight. Even the gold endzone from the Super Bowl look better than the endzones that we currently have. Why do we have such bland endzones now?

We have THE worst organizational structure in the NFL and you worried about end zones lol.

1. We are marginally better than the Browns.
2. It is something new to complain about.

We were going to change them but Loomis extended them to free up cap space.

Great, you just put up the Madam Winston signal. He'll be here shorty to weaken even further your beta thread

Mates, our end zones are totally bosh. The coloured black end zones of the 90s would look absolutely peng innit.

That's what's holding this team back......

It’s cheaper and less maintenance. Par for the course with this organization. They have bigger fish to fry than worrying about endzone paint.

Because SirWinston touches himself at night.

We're the only team in the NFL who has had the exact same field design for over 20 seasons. It's lazy af and we should not stand for it any longer.
I pray for good news - that we will finally have painted endzones and a unique logo at midfield.

Y’all can make fun of Winston all ya want but he’s right about this. It’s a small issue but representative of the complacency of the organization as a whole. Payton and Brees carrying us to a Super Bowl was a damn miracle.

Yup. Imagine being a multi billionaire like Gayle or an entrenched GM like Loomis or an untouchable Head Coach like Sean Payton and taking your marching orders from Doug Thornton on promotional things. It's ridiculous. The NFL had to put their fist down for the 49ers / Ravens Super Bowl and make Thornton paint the fricking endzones. Notice we're the only stadium that still leaves the endzones plain / green for College Football playoff and Championship games. Thornton has a vendetta against paint and lifting a finger to do anything different.
The Falcons are the best example, We mock 28-3 and shite, but their organization is top notch. They do things right marketing wise, promotion wise, and social media wise. They treat their fans right and value their opinions. The overall vibe and feel reaches the players and makes their org a more attractive free agent destination.
