I think he has good feet but he’s kind of a 1 cut runner.
Yeah true. But there’s some value in that.

It’s oddly exciting how freaking well we might have faired wirh UDFA. Perfect timing with fewer draft picks. Between him and Humphrey you might have to contributors on offense alone.

The only knock on him I heard was that he was a one year wonder.

He was, but its a good story. Dude worked his arse off between his junior and senior years. Came in to his senior year and took hold of the #1 rb spot at Nebraska. Was finally in shape and it showed.

Didn’t say there wasn’t value. Just saying why he wasn’t drafted. Guys like him are fairly common

That could be good or bad though. Trent Richardson was a one cut runner as well.

Yeah but Trent Richardson just ran and never looked where he was going.

Some of the holes he missed lol

He's pretty slow out of the gate. Great top speed but seems to take a while to get there

Think he could easily be the 2nd RB by midseason...and he was in RB by committee before his last year

At his pro-day he ran a 4.5 40, had 19 reps on the bench, and had a 37 inch vertical.

This matters why? People put too much stock into this bs.

One (albeit productive) season as a starter in a non-prostyle offense on a bad team.

I think he has a decent shot at being effective in the Saints offense.

I'm no expert, but it matters because faster people are harder to catch by slower people. Same with stronger and more explosive people. It's not the end all be all, let's draft all 4.3 guys like Al Davis. But if you get a great football player who is also freaking fast, then your team is that much better.

You're putting too little stock into that BS.

It means he ran for 1,000 yards and is also an NFL caliber athlete. That kind of matters.

It matters when coupled with good game tape.

You use it as a piece of information with any other piece of information.

You will understand when lil Jordan Humphrey can’t make the team as a WR

This guy has good measurements and all with size, speed, and good balance, but his problem is vision ala Trent Richardson like someone already mentioned on here. I think that's why the Browns passed on him, didn't want another Trent. LINK
