Who is he and what has to be done to get his nasally yankee* arse away from the mic?

*I'm assuming he is a yankee because he sounds like one

You can never tell if he's saying:

"Drew Brees passing complete"

Or

"Drew Brees pass incomplete"

Guy is old as the hills and has been there since I was going to the game as a kid.

So because he is from the north that makes him a bad pa guy?

It's extremely annoying and he's not very good at his job, imo, but he's viewed as a "local legend" and has been at it for many years. He'll leave when he dies or when he wants to leave.

I'm to wrapped up in the game to really notice/care about what the PA guy sounds like. I'll try and remember to pay attention next time though

He's really not that bad, and he's not going anywhere. Do you really need him to tell you what's going on?
