we all agree with you but they will, and it will be our 1st rounder in 2024 plus pick 29 to move up to around the 18-20 pick

Do not want Carter.

He's got bust written all over him.

Breece has talent but I’m dint like players that run hot and cold. He has major bust potential.

I hope we don’t move up unless someone like Robinson starts to drop to the mid 20’s. We missed out on Jefferson by not moving up a couple spots.

Drafting Hooker would be the most Saints thing ever. Just signed an iffy qb in Carr to big money for four years only to draft a damn 26 year old off a knee injury.

They can’t possibly be that stupid.

Bresee.

Decidedly average his entire career at Clemson. Didn’t stay healthy. No consistency. Has the mobility of an 18 wheeler.

I like bresee but I’m not a fanboy, but saying he has limited mobility is dead wrong. He had the 4th fastest DL 40 and 2nd fastest 10 yard split at the combine.

I won’t melt if he’s the pick at 29. I think he has upside but if he ends up being injury prone, I’m going to kill myself. Who’s on top your big board j?

Do people want Breese because he was a high profile recruit? I don’t get it

The Saints to trade up to 11 and select a Punter/Kicker from Texas.

And absolutely no ability to turn with zero bend to get around people. Running fast in a straight line with no impediments is not mobility in a football sense, especially for a DL.

Lol

That Saints organization is not even in the same universe as this Saints organization.

In fact it might as well be considered an entirely different franchise.

You’re preaching to the converted. I listed (on the radio) to every play of the 62-7 Falcons beat down of the Saints on Opening Day of ’73.

Archie’s stats that day:
5 for 13, 62 yards, 1 TD & 5 Ints, 2 rushes for 9 yards.

Regular Season Records (Comparing the two Saints owners)

From 1967 through 1985 (the Mecom ownership years), the Saints’ record was 83-187-5. (.307 )

Since 1986 (Benson ownership) 320-273-0 (.540)

This .540 winning percentage would make the Saints the 7th-best NFL franchise overall all-time winning record.

No, he had excellent times in the short shuttle and 3 cone as well. He’s a top flight athlete. I’m not standing on the table for Bresee, but it’s not because of his lack of athleticism.

Any QB or OL at that point.

I would prefer a WR or DB (Maybe a LB)

Excellent times don’t mean he’s able to bend. He has the mobility of a Mack truck on the field which is precisely why he made so few plays in offensive backfields. He peaked as a freshman, put on weight, got injured, and has been pretty meh since.

My eyes - having watched quite a bit of Clemson the past 3 years - and every scouting report I’ve looked at written by anyone of note says he has tight hips, gets too tall, and has no bend or pass rush moves.
