Where would Heldman had been drafted if he played in the SEC?

I sure he wouldn't have the same production but it's hard to imagine that with his RAS score he wouldn't have been gone by Round 4-5

Undrafted. He can’t set the edge, he’s not fast, he struggles vs strength… one trick pony doesn’t get drafted unless they have some elite traits somewhere

You kind of have to define the production to get an answer, no? A guy with his RAS can be day 1 or 2 easy if they’re double digit sacks in SEC. Or they can be UDFA if they don’t produce

Four FCS guys got drafted. Teams didn’t just ignore this guy bc of where he played

He's not fast and can't set edges??? Did you see the RAS and his run grades? Where do people like you come from?

I was kinda saying what do you guess his production would be given his play against Big 10 teams like Mich and Mich State and based on his talent.

Not my opinion, that’s what Burgler had to say about him

His run grades were pretty good guy. I literally WATCHED him set edges in the film reviewed by Baldinger. How TF would a defender have the highest grade in the country w/o setting the edge?

Quite a few people have that complaint about Bailey regarding setting the edge in the run game………

All prospects have flaws. Heldman has enough speed, and good agility. He has a nice RAS score. If he had played at a Texas Tech or an SEC school (and still produced close to this)…..he is probably a 5th or higher.

I don't know if I agree with that. I am not sure why he dropped, but he has plenty tape against top tier programs, so where he went to school probably didn’t factor in that much.

I think second to fourth round if he’s pumped out those same numbers in the sec

Who cares? If he can play, he will get drafted. Doesn’t matter what conference he plays in. Great NFL players come from small schools all the time.
