I was wrong about the win total. I thought we'd win 4 games tops.

Wrong - thought that we would have 2 wins
Right - Shough would be much better than Rattler

Right
-Better team than most gave us credit for.
-How good Shough could be after I started looking more into him right before and after the draft.
-Oline depth would hurt us (even though we did shore it up, it somehow still got us).
-McCoy getting hurt again (more a fear that came true).
-Shough was the guy to start all along.
-Defense would be mostly good, but could use a surefire corner on the outside (Riley did better than expected for where he was drafted, and Kool-aid showed he could be a good corner but still has some growing to do).
-We were good enough to win the division (finished 2 games out after a horrid start).
-Rattler never was and never will be the guy. His limitations are too obvious and extremely hard to overcome.

Wrong
-We could win at least 8 games (which I think would have been possible with Shough, but as soon as the announced Rattler I knew we'd be fricked and stick with him too long).
-We would win the division.
-The corners would struggle pretty bad (not totally wrong as Yiadom did struggle pretty bad and Riley and Kool-aid had growing pains, but both came along further than I thought).
-We couldn't possibly have as many injuries as last year (I think we somehow had even more xD).

Other than that I wasn't too gung-ho on anything that I could recall. Had Shough been the guy from jump I think I would have had even fewer wrongs. Johnson did about what I thought. Olave did about what I thought. I had faith in Cam and Demario still being able to play well (those guys are 100% committed to the process every year and have incredible conditioning). But I wouldn't say I was right on those because I don't think I ever talked about them much, and they did as expected from me, not really better or worse.

Wrong:
-Shough was a wasted pick due to age and injury history . Glad to be wrong there

-Thought it would be a 2-3 win season. Was content with it being a total reset of a season. Happy to see improvement throughout the year with entire team and good pieces to grow with . Draft class was impressive

On target. I knew it was a rebuild season with the new staff. Win loss is spot on. But pleasantly surprised with the QB.

Right:

felt like that if the Saints could beat their win total (5) then we should be happy. There was so much negativity coming into this season and I don't think many believed the Saints could get past five wins.

that was the narrative that I refused to get caught in.

Wrong:

I did melt at picking Shough where they did. Mind you I didn't hate him as a prospect, but I fell for the immediate reaction of "we could have taken him later" than we picked. Of course, there is no proof of when he would have been taken but that's the narrative I probably was totally wrong on.

I hate getting caught on narrative street. But there I was.

How about going forward you and the rest of you NegaTards just shut up with your bitching about draft picks and wait to see how they pan out? The issue isn't that you were wrong; the issue is that you and the rest of your choads think you know more than everyone else in the organization as you watch a few college games on saturdays from your recliner.

should we take this approach in all walks of life?

Should your fat arse stay off the movie and political boards when you disagree with them and just trust the paid professionals know more than you?

oh proxie....do we need to review your failures again?

Imagine betting on a dennis allen coached team to make the playoffs and then running away like a scared pussy when it comes to time to pay up. Fggt

I'll often own up when wrong. Unlike you I don't shift the goalposts and say "wellllll I would have been right but those injuries so I won't pay up!"
