Some Chicago moron thought Pace would convince him to go there. Of course, Pace got fired cause he sucks so that got derailed.
Nationally Albert Breer, Boston man that never knew Boston was considered racist, had him maybe leaving for a different team one week then the next week had him leaving for TV so he's just throwing shite at the wall.

What people don't realize is how much leverage the Saints have even though next year is the last year of his contract.

For example, now, the Bears have to give up a ton to the Saints or hire a 1-year interim coach to get Payton. Both options cripple the franchise.

Majority of Saints fans cannot accept the truth

I’ve been saying it since the SuperBowl

Drew Brees
Sean Payton
Mickey Loomis

Can stay and make as much money as they want

Drew could have stayed two more years if he wanted to

The Saints organization is a massive money making machine for a select few of people

All of which have not been on the top of their game for a long time

Yet they all continue to make more and more money

At the expense of Saints fans

Go ahead and continue to enjoy it

They had the winningest record in the league over the course of several years recently

There was a Fansided write-up where the Saints traded Payton, Lattimore, Ramczyk and a late round pick for a couple players Bears fans barely know, one 1st round pick, another early round lick next year and maybe a case of Old Style.

It was truly laughable...

Bidding for Payton will start at double what it cost for Gruden, which is only fair since he's easily twice the coach.

He’s a top 5 coach and has been for the better part of 2 decades now. The media simultaneously hates him and wants him in a big market, but it ain’t happening.

To have a winning season and just a hair short of the playoffs with all the turmoil this season is nothing short of incredible. Most teams would love to have Sean

Anything short of 10 1sts and 10 2nd rounders is not worth considering. No amount of draft picks will make up for losing one of the best coaches in the game that completely changed this franchise.

Look what he's done this year with 1/8 of an NFL team. Now imagine having a shitty coach with 3 firsts and 2 seconds that could be all busts, and one good player in return.

Payton and Belichick are the cream of the crop. If franchise QBs don't grow on trees, neither do HCs. I'd rather have a subpar roster with a great coach than a great roster and a shite coach.

Sean Payton is the Saints. Can you imagine the team trading him for a first rounder then the franchise dives back into mediocrity for a decade? Loomis would be a dead man

It would be risky for sure. If you got say 2 1st rounders and flipped them for deshon Watson, it might would turn out ok. Make sure you can pull harbaugh from Michigan before you pull the trigger

He's a top 3 coach in the NFL. He should be paid as such.

I'd listen to any trade offer for anyone. Doesn't mean I'd pull the trigger; but like I said in above post, if I have a capable coach lined up with a plan for the pick(s), I might. If you could flip Sean for picks to get deshaun Watson and get harbaugh, is Sean better with our current qb situation? Maybe, I don't know

Man do you realize how ridiculous this sounds? That's a whole bunch of rolling the dice on situations the organization has no control over whatsoever.

You don't think an nfl GM can set up 2 trades at the same time? I would think they can multitask. Mlb GMs do it
