I'm new here and I think the Ryan hate is a little bit ridiculous. I think he brings swagger back to the D. Something that was lacking last year.

Look at his past defenses. Where's the success?

Not to mention he's a GW clone and I'm pretty tired of that type of defense.

He's a tired blow hard that's more name than genius.

However, I'm satisfied with the hire and hope it works out for the best

Kill the head and the body will die...

Dallas wasn't too bad last year. They were destroyed by injuries. He can't be worse than spags

You smell of an alter, but my thing with him is his defenses seem to be undisciplined, not to mention Payton has tore his defenses a new one.

You see, people keep saying this, but that's nonsense. So what if it's better than last year? It still might not be good enough to win another championship.

I wouldn't mind Ryan.

I just prefer Crennel.

I want san fransisco's d-line coach tomsula. I think he would turn our front 7 into beasts.

We just got in trouble because we had a blowhard loose cannon who loved to trash talk both in the locker room and to the media. We are already in the cross-hairs of the NFL Nazis, and they have proven that they can and will punish us for bullshite that didn't even happen.

And now we're bringing in Rob Ryan, who never met a soundbite he didn't like. The second he makes an asinine comment in a press conference, we will be on the front page. We don't need any of that shite. We need to buckle down and play football. The window is closing.

I thought with the amount of time it was taking, we would be getting one of the position coaches from one of the Super Bowl teams. Rob Ryan isn't a bad hire, the guy just rubs me the wrong way. That being said, he did bring the heat against the Saints when he was the D-Coordinator for the Browns...

Is he really that outspoken though? The only soundbites I can recall coming from him are when he was asked about his brother, and his infamous "I'll be out of work for like 5 minutes" quote.

I just don't like any of the Ryan's. Rex was a good coordinator but Rob hasn't shown the same ability as Rex. He had talent at every level of the D in Dallas and they were average. He did have a good D in Oakland, but busted in Cleveland. I'm not sold on him, but I'm not totally against it like I was a week ago. He was last on my list.

This is pretty much how I feel. Could have done better but this isn't bad. He shouldn't have been fired by Dallas

Jerry Jones should have fired the GM instead. That wasn't his fault.

I thought the Spags hire was awesome, so what the frick do I know... but it's been a long time since I looked at Dallas and said "man I wish we had THAT defense." Although plenty of times I've said man I wish we had Demarcus Ware...

Jones should fire himself, but I like watching the Cowboys suck so I'm fine letting his ego ruin that organization

I wouldn't be too displeased with him, but I want to find a guy who hasn't had a shot. I trust Payton though.
