At one time he was better than Carr, that time is passed. He seemed washed last year. He prob has 1-2 years left in the league

No one is saying we should go get Stafford but he's still better than shitty Carr. Pretty sure his old arse won a playoff game this year. Something Carr has never done in his career.

His team and coaches and himself working in collaboration won a playoff game. Carr has been with a shitty coach, with an injured offense, and a worse defense than the rams. So sure, stafford won a playoff game, but how many did he win in his prime with great players in detroit? And why do you think that is?

Legend has it that Matt Stafford is the greatest QB to ever step foot on the gridiron. That’s the story I’ve heard anyway.

The story is he’s not much better than Carr, is old and we couldn’t afford him anyway. All you really need to know
Dude wtf? Stafford is so much better than Carr. Are you kidding?
In every category he is far and away better. Toughness, arm strength, accuracy.
And I'm not talking about wasting assests. I don't think the rams trade him. I know mcvay doesn't want to.

Bro earning your name right here. He's been better than Carr every year Carr has been in the league.
Stafford is a Super Bowl winner because of the rams.
Otherwise he is a loser qb with starts and stats like Carr.
All this proves is that at this point teams are realizing its not worth paying Qb’s Joe Burrow money without Joe Burrow production.
And teams want young mobile not old pocket passers.
The nfl has stacked hybrid defenders for years. Qbs need to be able to move.

Yea because the Saints roster is so much better than the Rams roster. Rams were struggling early in the season when their receivers were hurt.
Not to mention he had the games best offensive mind as his head coach. How many games did he win in Detroit in his prime?
We might be worse than those Detroit teams now but Stafford is a decade older and slower, I wonder how’d he look in those circumstances….

No one said sign Stafford. He said Carr is better than Stafford. He was wrong. Your tangent about mobile QBs seems like you just want people to read something you wrote and irrelevant to that point.

Literally does not say Carr is better than Stafford does it dumbfrick.
Youre a complete idiot if you think any team in the NFL team is riding with an immobile pocket passer at this point.
Folks are already calling for Goff’s head in Detroit, and placing him in the Kirk Cousins collumn.
Goff is literally the only premium pocket passer left. If you consider Goff worth 60 mill that is.

agree but he’s over 37 now, his numbers weren’t better than Carr this year and he had actual talent at receiver to throw to.
Weren’t puca and Kupp both out for most of the year?

Are we just forgetting he dragged an injured and rebuilding Rams team to the playoffs 2 years in a row? In one of the harder divisions in the NFL?
Carr has failed to do that the past 2 years with a better overall team in a markedly worse division.

The Rams got a little injection of talent this year in the draft but he also made the playoffs in 2023 when their roster was legit bad. They were starting later round rookies everywhere and Kupp hit the wall and got hurt, too. Their OL is dogshit talentwise

Puca and Kupp played a total of 23 games combined in 2024.
Shaheed and Olave played a combined 14 games in 2024.
So Rams already have the better receivers, Olave was hurt early in his game to so Stafford got about ten games more of his starting receivers to play with yet Carr had the better qb rating in 2024…..

Not sure what you are taking about? Rams have been nailing their draft picks. Their roster is much better than ours and was better two years ago also.
All of their skill positions are better, both receivers, running back, tight end.
Wanna talk about our oline? Our starting left tackle last year rode the bench the entire year for one of the worse teams in the league. We had a rookie this year starting.

Let’s go get him. The Rams told his agent that he can speak to other teams. He def is better than Carr and the other two numb nuts we have.
Reality: In the end, we won’t sign him tho. We only like project players.

Exactly why you DON'T want him. We are not on the cusp of a Superbowl. We don't need a game manager that's smart and doesn't cause mistakes. We need to build for the future and roll with someone younger. Whether it's finding someone like drew coming off a major injury on a prove it deal or a youngster and let them take their lumps. Aging veterans are a big reason our cap is as bad as it is
