Its gotta be similar to a fathers hate, when he learns his Son, His only Son, Is gay.

So he blames the mother.

I imagine the fanbase is the same way for Horn.
Its bittersweet, you watching this boy grow up to be a man, who gets on his knees for other men.

In reality, Horn didnt like Peyton, He said so Pubically, So he seeked employment else where and Peyton was fine with that. He didnt have many years left so it was a good excuse for Peyton to cut him.

after skimming this special Olympics thread, I've come to the summation that the OP is either Joe or directly related. :lol

Joe Horn has always been one of my favorite players.

Once, after scoring a touchdown he grabbed a phone a called me.

definitely two of the greatest WRs in Saints history...but way more Saints fans hate on CGM than Joe Horn.

Special olympics because I don’t want to go by opinion vs fact?

Dude didn’t olay witn drew brees. Hit 1300 yards like 3-4 times. 61 targets and 675 yards?

I see why this one of the dubest fanbases im sorry Im not gonna fall in line with your nostalgic lies.

It should be common sense dude with aaron brooks putting up numbers like that is hitting 1500 easily with Brees. Brooks 55% completion percentage vs Brees 70% completions. Again should be common sense but sense clearly isn’t so common here.

Therefore easily better than guys who did nothing without brees. Especially mr so great but still unemployed lol make it make sense

Nobody but saints fans picking a player like marques colston over a prime joe horn a consistent 12-1300 yard 4x pro bowl player. Bonified #1 don’t have to run to the slot to get stats primary vs Linebackers.

Again with his numbers if the saints actually won he would have 1st/2nd team all pro seeing as guys with lesser numbers got the honers over him.

Imagine taking Tee higgins over ceedee lamb thats yall

Colston happened to be on winning teams. Horn on 7-9 8-8 teams. Winning teams 0 pro bowls.

But let them tell it he was doing what Joe was doing

bro to be honest, our saints history of wr's is pretty fricking bad. just be happy we had both joe horn and michael thomas that excelled during both of their times. only you are making this about hatred about another in splitting hairs over the differences. they had a mutual respect for each other and thomas even celebrated joe when he broke his record. shut the frick up already fricking west bank trash.

We were mostly a place where WRs came to die for decades.
Joe Horn helped change that.

It's a message board. Someone has a thought and wants to stir shite.

It has come out they had the wrong Joe, but some people have their mind made up and still point at Horn for that.

That was Joe Johnson, right?

Also, OP... we like you well enough Mr. Horn, need to have a breakdown on a random Wednesday.

Is this some fake outrage shite you get with screaming individuals that have nothing to do with the person or group being theoretically maligned or have just escaped from an insane asylum?

OP states the fanbase hates Joe Horn, then proceeds to argue that Joe Horn was the best WR in Saints history.

I wish there was a term for this type of logical fallacy.

Who hates Joe Horn? You haven't answered that yet. People may disagree with who the best WR is but that doesn't equal hate or mean the fans turned on him. One more chance to explain your OP. What makes you think fans hate him?

I was never mad at him. Dude was the fire that started to turn the saints into contenders. He gave us an identity with his confidence and cell phone celebration that had em talking.
