12 is about where I expect us to pick but let’s just say we go all out and try to take a franchise QB worth a new regime (one can still hope) or at least a new coach. Naturally Jayden would be my choice with guys like him excelling in the NFL now his draft stock seems to have risen from a mid 1st to a top 5 and most likely top 2 pick. I’m guessing probably close to 3 first round picks would the price, possibly 2024 and 2025 1st and 2nd round picks could do it. We would trade our next 2 draft but finally have a rookie QB on a rookie contract to build on. I’d pay whatever price is needed. Carr’s teammates hate him, he’s done even if he’s the most experienced backup in NFL history.

More lopsided than the Rickey Williams trade.

Thank God they'll never try that.

Loomis trading up is actually one thing i never worry about, it always happens. I’t’s the taking a franchise QB is my deal. Loomis is used to only having a mid-late 1st to work with in the Brees era so trading that far up was impossible. This will be one of the highest 1sts he has now.

We can get Penix at 12. Kiper has us picking a WR. Vomit. I would take a flier on a QB before another 1st Rd WR. What a waste those are. Too many OLs, DLs and CBs out there too for this crap.

The price to move into the top five this year will be insane.

Unless Allen is fired they ain't picking a QB. It will be Oline and Dline. Allen's waggon is hitched to Carr and he's going to do everything possible to put better players around him.

I don't think it will fix Carr, but I do agree that rebuilding the O-line should be priority so that the next QB will have some type of protection to work with.

RT - Ram is still a solid player but his long term health is becoming a concern.

RG - Ruiz has played better in the run game but he's not long for this team.

C McCoy is a rock

LG - Hearst is solid but not great

LT - Peat is likely out after this season

Max Garcia is the best of the rest but he can't beat out Hurst or Ruiz so...

Landon Young hasn't shown much at all.

Trevor Penning.... I mean, there's no logical reason to count on him.

Nick Saldiveri is pretty much an unknown but hopeful.

Tri Turner - Unknown what he has left.

Then a few others that are unknowns.

This team needs young O-linemen and lots of them.

I think you are mostly correct, but i believe if they have two players rated equally, theyll prob go dlinemen

Well that'll be ok too because the D-line isn't much to write home about either.

Saunders and Shepherd are what they are. Cheap transition players.

Breese will be just fine with experience and even more than fine IMO.

Cam God love him is fighting a battle he can't win. Time is undefeated.

Granderson is earning his money each weak and thanks God for that.

Kpassagnon could become the next Granderson, but I seriously doubt it.

Foskey is disappointing but he's young I'll wait till this time next season to make a judgement.

Not much else to say on that.

So yea, D-Line needs just as much if not more help than O-line.

If DA gets another shot we won’t, nor should we want them to, pick a QB

Come on Winston. If we win the division we pick mid twenties right? This team is not a mid twenties player away from being competitive again. All that does is set us further back while we kick the can another year.

Remember when we had 2 1sts with Boss Bailey and Nick Barnett on a silver platter? Then we traded both picks for Jonathan Sullivan. That plus a lot worse.

Low 20's. And if we lose out we'd pick pick like 12th. Rooting for losses is dumb unless you're the Cardinals or Patriots (or Panthers if they still had their pick).

Plan on drafting Nuss next year. Heisman trophy winner Nuss. Best arm in the country!
