This is a sad arse excuse

To cover up that spayton sucks at talent evaluation

He sucks at talent evaluation period….happy he’s gone.

I really despise the excuses that “well everybody else sucks too

That’s the difference between Bill Bilichik and Spayton

spayton will never win another SuperBowl

But all of you arse kissers will continue to make excuses

All of you arse kissers love dumbing down to mediocrity

“Oh well….we’re better than the Falcons!”

That’s how losers think.

Or Russell Wilson(3rd), or Nick Foles(3rd), or Rich Gannon(4th), or Brad Johnson(8th), or Kurt Warner (undrafted). I could go on.

What a shitty comparison. If you are using Bill Belichick than no one else compares because no one has done what he has. Btw his drafts have also been trash. Many of them

Thank you for making my point.

spayton is the offensive genius and the QB whisperer

Name one QB that spayton picked and developed

And don’t even say Drew Brees

A reetard would have taken him in that situation

Drafts are a crap shoot

Anybody knows that.

What bellicik has often done is collect multiple draft pics

Odds are you’ll get a good hit

What spayton did was trade away all of our pics

Worst than that is the “trading up for a bust”

Do I have to explain how detrimental that is?

The Redskins drafted Kirk Cousins(4th) the same year they took RG3 #2 overall

They also took Gus Frerotte the same year they took Heath Shuler #3 overall

He was looking for a Brady... or even a Romo.

Not sure what payoff the Saints were honestly expecting to get from these choices. They were all wasted at a times when the Saints obviously had other needs. An extra contributor or two could have made the difference and pushed us over the top to the Super Bowl during the 2017-2020 seasons when we were contenders. Oh what could have been.

Go back and check any other teams success rate with their picks and you'll soon find how difficult it is to predict how these players pan out.

Was it really because Sean loved those guys because they reminded him of himself? That’s so goofy if true. That’s got to just be a rumor.

You have got to be kidding me. I would be embarrassed to even post that stupidity.

Didn't Payton help find Romo for the Cowgirls?

Maybe he figured he could do it again for Saints

Hoping to find a diamond in the rough. Everybody hoping they get the next Brady in the 7th.

My guess is that it was a process of selective diamond in the rough hope. It seemed as though Payton was looking for smarts/football intelligence and hoping that would offset the lower skill level. He definitely was not looking for big playmakers.
