Personally I think we should keep him because he’s a top 5 corner i’m the league with freakish skills and teams can never have enough corners in today’s game. If he were traded I wouldn’t take anything les than a 1st, even with his big contract and injuries. Knowing Loomis he will do it for a 4th rounder. I would offer our 1st which is the 14th pick, Marshon Lattimore and a 2nd in 2025. A mud 1sr, 2nd and a lockdown #1 corner to move up to the top 3 whoever wants the deal between Chicago, Washington and New England. A proven star NFL corner still only 27 should be a major want for any team in the league.

We are not getting a 1st for him.

A 2nd and 4th for Lattimore and 5th would be about the best we can hope for. Trade should have happened last offseason. I’m not sure we can even trade him with our cap situation.

His contract was reworked to facilitate possible trade. I still wouldn’t take less than a late 1st or high 2nd. He would immediately be your #1 corner for the next 5 years and he’s being paid commiserate with what other top guys at his position are so a 1st is a more than fair offer.

Could use him as part of a trade to move up in the draft. Patriots really need a star CB… Maybe Lattimore and a bunch of picks can get us to one of the top three QBs. A boy can dream.

He will be 28 at the start of next season. Five years is a stretch. More like 3.

looks like you’d get what you want, because nobody is giving you a 1st round pick for him.

He’s a disgruntled player, so they will just wait you out and try to sign him when you’re forced to cut him. At best, you will probably get a 2nd rounder for him.

You can say that about Thomas. Not sure what Lattimore has done to indicate that.

I imagine a 3rd is the realistic best case scenario.

With his injury history, it would take a team legit in love with him to pay more than that.

We can't move him until after June 1, to spread out his massive dead cap.

I thought it was pretty well talked about how Lattimore is currently not happy.

And I’m not sure why all the downvotes above. Lattimore isn’t getting you a 1st round pick.

1 for 1 for Justin Fields is about all we can do to get a wb fromnone of the teams with a top 3 pick

People have tried to piece that together because he was eligible to come back off IR before the season ended but didn't. There's been no solid word on it though. Definitely not to the point that another team would consider him disgruntled and wait out for a release.

I think a 2nd is the best case. Worst is a third. He’s still a top 5 corner when healthy. That’s extremely valuable. I still don’t think we trade him tbh

Underhill ran the numbers and they literally can. We’ve talked about this before. But it also assumes Ram comes back for one more year. If he can’t, then yes they’ll have to wait to trade him anyway

Been a minute since I saw Underhill’s report, but everything was based on him being traded post 6/1, but before the beginning of the regular season. It can work “now”, but makes a lot more sense cap wise post 6/1

Ramsey was just traded for a 3rd and a scrub TE. I can’t imagine Latt having more value than that.

I think you can probably get a late first from someone like the lions. That would be a perfect match. They are contenders in need of defensive upgrades and there is familiarity with DC and Aaron Glenn
