My reasoning exactly. That's already too much OLine instability for one offseason

Without Unger retiring they were still 0%.

No way they would trade him now without a viable backup lt

He'd be worth more to us than what another team would be willing to give. We'd need at least a mid to high second, and with a guy on his last year needing to be paid, a team would have to absolutely love him to do that.

What’s the market for a one year rental of a halfway decent utility OL with an expiring contract.

Also related, the Saints currently have one other guard on their roster. After that, what? Pray that Clapp or Tom can play guard?

Peat was so garbage in the playoffs. It’s a fact.

He’s been decent, but very underwhelming for where he was drafted.

Being unsigned to long term deal, never say never. He’s good but not irreplaceable imo.

Yeah I think they want to see him healthy the entire year and it helps that terron gets hurt here and there.

Only way I see him signing now is if it's very team friendly

We need more Oline, not less. I want another tackle who can play guard if we can find one thats worth it in the 2nd round. Get safety help later and hope Foster Moreau falls somehow.

Ya, he was hurt. Played through injury. Bravo. Would have been better off and probably been in super bowl if we had a big green egg playing LG instead.

Glad to see I wasn't completely bashed for bringing this up. The only reason I asked is because there have been rumblings in the past that he could be on the trade block. We now how Sean and Mickey like to move on draft day and we don't really have any picks to work with.

A high 2nd and I bet Sean and mickey pull the trigger.

People will see how valuable he is next year when people throw 8 figure annual deals

say it louder for the people in the back

they should be exploring an extension if it means getting him at somewhat of a discount before hitting the open market
