With the news and terms coming out giving Sean Payton permission to coach it's going to be to a team that helps the saints get their franchise quarterback in trade or draft pick

Justin Fields for a mid/late first?

What qb are we trading a first for?

Prolly not though. Starting to prepare for disappointment in the comp, I think our best case is getting the Texans 12 pick

Our path to redemption will be to suck next year, fire Allen, hopefully get our franchise qb in the 24 draft

You can't really feel one way or the other until the agreement is made and we pull the trigger in the draft. Yeah we're gonna suck next year, but it's a lot easier to handle when you know it's growing pains and not the same old shite.

You can’t include a player in a coach trade

Fields sucks. Dont understand the fascination with a QB that cant throw or win games.

Pass.

Unfortunately, we’re still going to be competitive enough next year to get 7-9 wins. Our division is terrible and Allen at least fields a top 5 defense.

It’s insane the amount of hype he gets. Never in my life have I seen a qb with such bad play and lead a team to the worst record in the league get so much praise

I’d like to see Fields with a legitimate group of WRs

What did you expect? Did you honestly expect a top 5 pick?

Give it a rest.

CJG was a shite head that was disrupting the team. Loomis gave him away because that's what you do sometimes with mental headcases who create more problems than they're helping to solve.

Getting Jackson wouldn't be the worst thing to happen. His athleticism will give us better odds in closer games.

So you throw in a scrub player with the deal.

I think the compensation for Fields is going to be less than you think. Assuming the Bears pick a QB, the last comparable trade was for Josh Rosen for a second and a fifth, or Sam Darnold for a second, fourth and sixth.

Now, I personally would trade for him at that level of compensation if we had a QB guru head coach like Sean Payton that could refine his passing game. We have Dennis Blank Stare Allen and Pete I don't know what I am doing Carmichael.
