We need better mods and lock this board/scoreboard for game days

I don’t usually pay attention to the board during games but holy shite there are some teenage pussies on here who melt every single play when things aren’t going right. Glad to be 2-0

As soon as the first fricking thing goes wrong, they flood the board with their preconceived notions of what they want the team to be (awful and winless).

It’s pathetic

This board is no different from other teams boards... I visit the Chiefs board and as good as a team as the Chiefs are they still say they suck... It's just the way it is with fans.. And I am one of them...

What exactly would locking this board and opening a scoreboard do?

The same threads would be started….we would just all be in a different place.

Actually, I don’t know why, and I’m gonna need you to break it down for me I thought it was just a defensive coach, who, like most, tends to lean on the conservative side. Like you, almost every Saints fan last night, and every fan base of every team whose coach has chosen to utilize the strategy, I too, did not care for the prevent defense in that moment. Just like last week when, instead of bleeding the clock on offense and punting just trying to hold on, we actually ran the offense and kept throwing, keeping our fate in our hands, I wanted to do the same with our defense last night. Let them keep playing the way they had been and dominating all night. (Carolina’s 2-minute offense’s personnel likely affected our defensive personnel, but let’s just put that to the side for now).

So, at this point, we’re on the same page, I assume, correct? Our defensive-minded, conservative coach got a little too conservative. But here’s where I really need you to break your theory down for me. You are suggesting the NFL “rigged” the game either for gambling purposes or to keep people tuned in until the very end. But that drive wasn’t aided by penalties, certainly none egregiously against us.

So who is “The NFL” in this scenario? I mean, what you must be saying then, is the Saints coaching staff—and players?—allowed Carolina to meticulously drive down the field, convert big 3rd downs, score a touchdown, convert an ad-libbed 2-point conversion, and be 1 big hop on an on-side kick away from possibly tying the game and sending it to overtime or even winning it outright in regulation. Right? That is what you’re saying, correct? I mean, what else COULD you be saying? The Saints coaching staff and players would have had to be in on it—they are the only ones who could have acted as “The NFL” since there were no bad calls on that drive. But they couldn’t make it too obvious, so guys like Demario Davis, who made an incredible play on the sidelines to keep a guy in bounds, must have only done that to keep up appearances.

And Dennis Allen, who makes several million dollars a year, coming off a 7-10 record in his 1st year of his 2nd stint as a HC, after failing bigly in his 1st and knowing this is almost definitely his last chance as a HC, in a league where parity makes EVERY win tough to come by, ESPECIALLY road wins against division rivals, was willing to gamble and let the outcome (which had it gone the other way would helped to build a case for his potential future firing and caused him to lose status, millions of dollars a year, and made him uproot his family and move to his next, much less paying, much more subordinate gig that could be God knows where), be decided simply by high the kick shot up on its 2nd bounce? This is what you’re implying, right? Saints coaches and players were not only in cahoots with “The NFL,” but were actually acting AS “The NFL?” Again, since the refs didn’t aid that drive, that must be what you’re not just implying, but outright saying. There’s no other explanation. I’m willing to concede that to you if you can answer me one simple question—to what end? To what end do Dennis Allen, Cam Jordan, Demario Davis, etc…agree to what you are accusing them of? What’s in it for them that would make it worth it?

That’s your quote, is it not? And you didn’t mention any other game here or any other part of last night’s game. You were talking specifically about Carolina’s final drive LAST NIGHT. I don’t give a shite about any other drive, in any other time period, in any other game. YOU—YOUR FINGERS—typed that out. And said “we all know why.” But I don’t know why, so I’m merely asking you to expound on your accusation. You are the one who made it, so the the onus is squarely on you to present your case. NOT for any other team, in any other game, in any other sport. Last night. Carolina’s last drive. Was “rigged” by “The NFL.” I’m simply asking you to flush out your argument.
