But I like what I've seen of UDFA CJ Donaldson's highlights. i could see him sneaking onto the roster. Especially if Kamara doesn't return.

Way too early predict the RB roster.

1- Etienne Jr.
2- Neal
3- Estime
4- Donaldson

IMO Kamara retires
Miller is Miller
Chandler will get beat out for returner duties.

You keep Miller over everyone but Etienne simply based on his talent.

You trade Miller over everyone simply based on availability and trade value.

Think it should be Etienne/ AK/ Estime/ Neal. I don't disagree if AK retires but CJ is probably going to the PS otherwise.

Man, Miller is so frustrating. Such a talented back that looks incredible when on the field. Glass house.

I find it hilarious that the same people who were obsessed with Jeremiah Love also dislike Estime even though they both came from ND and have very comparable college stats. Kyren Williams was drafted in 2022 with the 12th pick in the 5th rd. Estime was drafted in 2024 with the 9th pick in the 5th.

Its not crazy to say Estime was the superior power back at Notre Dame compared to both Jeremiah Love and Kyren Williams. Athleticism and receiving? No.

I love Estime. He will be on the roster no doubt.

I don’t think they signed Chandler to cut him

He and Etienne are the only roster locks

Kamara is a special case but between the other guys, whoever plays the best will make the team. Pretty simple

He can’t stay healthy.

No.

The last staff drafted him and he can’t stay healthy.

He’ll get a chance but Miller is who he is.
Injured

Chandler was signed to be a 4th/5th back and return specialist.

The team obviously drafted late I the draft to make return specialist a competition. IMO he gets beat or of that role.

If Kamara doesn’t retire he’s obviously RB2, but IMO I think he retires.

If miller can go to the PS he may stick around for depth but make no mistake NO ONE is trading for a RB they can’t stay healthy no matter how much potential he has.

I think it's

Etienne and AK

with Neal and Estime battling for the #3 spot.

Chandler will be there for kick returns.

Miller and Donaldson aren't making this team.

It’s going to be:

Etienne
AK41
Neal
Estime

I just read an article with Kamara expressing his excitement to play with Etienne so it doesn’t sound like he wants to retire

I think it’s time to end the Kendre Miller experiment. He hasn’t shown to be so far ahead of any of the other backs that he deserves the benefit of the doubt after playing 21 games in 3 seasons.

Etienne
Kamara
Neal
Estime

I liked what I saw from both Neal and Estime when they played

Camp body with upside. Maybe Kellen has a plan for his speed, but I think he's there for depth/competition

Depending what they have to do with OL & DL will determine how many backs make the roster. Wouldn’t surprise me if only 3 make the opening day roster

AK
Achane
Neal

Estime and Donaldson will battle for the powerback role. With all the other battles to sort out three sounds about right.
