Has anyone watched a game either at walkons or dave and busters by the dome. We dont have tickets but would like to take in the pregame by the dome and watch somewhere near. I was wondering how the crowds were. Thanks

My wife watches at Walkons sometimes when I take my son to the game and we meet back there after game. (She'd rather watch game on TV at a bar) and she enjoys it. Says it obviously gets real crowded and rowdy but its a good time. She and her crew get there before the gametime rush to ensure a good spot to watch. Have fun

Your two worst options

Last time I tried this was a few weeks ago for the Pittsburgh game. I went to both of these locations before the game and it was packed wall to wall with people standing up and every table taken. Not good options. Any bar/restaurant will be like this probably. We finally landed at the little gem saloon across from walkons and it was fine. Wasnt much of an atmosphere but for the Conference Championship I bet every stand-alone bar will be

You can find better options. Hyatt has a few good bars.

Theres a restaurant on the third floor of the Hyatt that has a ton of TVs. I go eat and drink there before the games sometimes. Worth checking out. I can usually get a table pre game and it clears out when it gets close to game time. Might be a good option

Stay away from D&B and Walk-Ons. It will be a shitshow.
As others have said, you may have better luck on the third floor of the Hyatt. I doubt you will get a seat in the casual restaurant, but there is a bar out front and there are tv's there.

Your best bet is to walk further away. Gordon Biersch may work. Mannings will have some big tv's inside and out.

The District, Barcadia, Rusty Nail, and Harrahs are all other options within walking distance.

I’d agree, those are probably the worst options. I’d probably go to Rusty Nail. I like their vibe on gameday.

Don’t they show the game in champions square?

Wherever you decide to watch the game get there early and stay there. I watch the game in Metairie and get there at least an hour+ before the game.

Ruth's Chris has a nice set up for game days in the back rooms.

Bring a heavy jacket cause it's going to be frigid outside on Sunday. But I've gone to Walk-ons, the upstairs part not the shitty restaurant area, and had a great time. Never had to wait too long for a drink and the bartenders are really cool.

I too would like to know this answer. Seems like it would be a really good idea under more temperate circumstances.

I am not 100% sure about this, but I think the NFL prohibits them showing it in Champions Square. Otherwise it would be an awesome way to watch if you arent actually at the game.

Watch it at home where you can eat peanuts and throw shells on floor, fart when ever you feel the need, shout out profanities and......

Turn it off if things get real bad score wise
