This pic clearly shows contact before the ball got there:

I understand refs miss calls. And I understand PI is oftentimes a judgement call that can go either way.
But there’s no damn way TWO Refs, two professional NFL refs, can accidently miss that blatant call. These are not a couple of scrub guys making an extra $50 on a Saturday by reffing a youth league football game. These are the best of the best. Sure they still miss calls. But they don’t miss that call, not on accident.
The only way they don’t call that is the fix was in, period. No way that was an innocent missed call. Bottom line is for years the NFL wanted back in the lucrative Los Angeles TV market. Well they got it. And now they want to take advantage of having that lucrative LA TV market by making sure there is an LA team in the Super Bowl.
The Saints got straight up fricked in the arse by the NFL.

Ok. As much as I love the Saints and this was the worst non call of all time, the Cowboys have NEVER got a call. Not ONCE

I’ve watched Tommy Lee Lewis get lit up about 40 times since the game was played...still no call... ...it sux.....

It was an obvious missed call. Still, if the Saints were really the better team, they’d have won by a bigger margin than just a missed PI call, and they didn’t.

I despise this argument
They fought to the exact position needed to win the game. A game against a very good 2 seed.
That's all you can hope for. They had it won. And it was stolen.

None of this is relevant to the missed call.
Had they thrown the flag the game was over. Literally a walk off just about with only 10 seconds left.
So the rams were gifted a chance. That chance was house money with elation. Saints were deflated with a pissed off coach realizing what was just taken from them in the most sinister fashion to ever be seen at one time by 50 million viewers.
The emotional flip was night and day.
That missed call changed the outcome of the game from a definitive Win to Rams having life and the missed call was the worst in NFL history.

What the f*ck are you talking about? The only non-call that even came close to the Saints noncall was for the Cowboys over the Vikings in a playoff game in the mid 70's where Drew Pearson clearly pushed off -

At absolute minimum the league should publicly apologize for that egregious no call and that entire officiating crew should be fired and then prosecuted in civil court and found liable for the full amount every person paid to be at that game. If they can't pay it, bankrupt their lives and throw them in prison.
The NFL railroaded our entire franchise into the ground for less contact than that last play. It is absolutely inexcusable to claim to give a shite about player safety and miss calls like they did there and against the cowboys a few weeks ago.

Before the first snap, all? of the talking heads were stating that it would not be a blowout by the Saints; that it would be a really close game.
They were right. That's why there was Refgate1.20.19.

Those fricking gifs. Especially the last one. Are insane.
That corner ran accross the field, never looked for the ball, and landed a helmet to helmet hit on a defenseless reciever before the ball ever even got there. You could show that replay as a textbook example of pass interference, helmet to helmet, and defenseless reciever.
The refs had 3 penalties to choose from and didn't throw a flag.

Dude, there wasn’t just this one no-call. The play resulting in the INT, the INT that allowed the rams to kick the game winning field goal- there was PI on that play as well. This was the worst officiating I have seen in YEARS.

I might be done...I’ve been looking at this since last night, I don’t know if I can keep watching games. This might have ruined the NFL for me.I can’t help but believe the no call was intentional, and if it was why the hell do I want to watch and care about football?
Before last night every time I saw a holding penalty or some other BS I just said to myself they missed it. Now I can’t convince myself of that. Go back and rewatch the game. This isn’t the only no PI call, the DLine looks like it’s being held constantly...My faith in the league’s integrity is broken.

That video made it beyond clear that was pass interference, how the refs who are paid to make these calls missed that is beyond me. Actually I read number 60 (ref) is from California near LA.

Fans should have rushed the field

Looked like a good no call.
