Look at the composition of the two crews that are fighting. An NFL LB and 4 male friends vs. a couple dudes and some women. Even without seeing what happened beforehand the chances that Junior and crew were innocently minding their business then had to fend off attackers isn't very likely.

The NFL needs to have a rule if a player does something stupid off the field if they cut him for punishment the income should not go against the team. Until then this stuff will always be a problem with teams keeping trash like this.
