I love it, but I will concede that the casual fan and thinks this is horrible, mostly because they dont know how good Unger really is.

You get 3 picks in the top 45. Seriously?

One pick (New Orleans drafting 13th overall)

plus

One pick (Seattle draft slot 31)

equals

Two first round picks

This isn't the NBA bro. The 30th pick is still a pretty damn good talent. Plus an all pro C. Goodwin was terrible last yr.

Matt is wrong, then.

Directly from the league's own site::

The Saints will send Graham and a fourth-round pick to the Seahawks for a first-round pick (No. 31 overall) and center Max Unger, per Rapoport.

Clearly the no. 31 pick is this year's draft.

Aren't the Saints sending the 4th rounder to Sea.

So we basically net Unger and an early 2.

I think it's been confirmed its this years. Otherwise why even do it? They could have gotten way more from other teams. I think the allure was an all-pro center and another first round pick in this years draft
