Turf causing more injuries

Turner and Aaron Rodgers injuries both would have been prevented IMO had the field been grass and the grass would have gave.
Secondly aren’t they removing all turf in one country because the rubber pellets is causing cancer in kids.

Stupid arse post. Rodgers’ foot was firmly planted in the ground and the other player was falling on top of him, wedging the leg with nowhere to go. Doesn’t matter if it’s artificial or not

I really would like to see the percentage of season ending injuries on grass vs turf. I know there’s more turf fields than grass but I just think it’s a lame argument.

All outdoor stadiums should be required to have natural grass.
I honestly think with the amount of money that the league makes that indoor stadiums should also have to buy grow lights and have grass as well but I get that its an expensive investment.

Grow lights. They are expensive but they exist. You put them on wires and pull them up to the ceiling during games and bring them back down between games.

I’m pretty sure we’ll never see grow lights in the NFL.
As long as turf is easier and less expensive to maintain, I think it’s here to stay.

It certainly won't happen if its the Owner's choice but if the NFLPA produces the evidence and makes it a priority during the next negotiation then its possible.
