... went to UF and covers college football, specifically the SEC on a huge stage. And she’s part of an elaborate scheme to get Tua drafted higher (orchestrated by Josh Rutledge or Tua?) at the cost of her reputation. Like the Tua camp got together and decided to make up and leak a still shitty 19 Wonderlic score
Dum bammer gumps couldn’t even give him a score in the 20s!

generally you don't pass on the best player in the draft at 24.

If healthy he's better than Burrow.

Tua isn’t going in the 1st round

Yep! Tua didn’t get no thirteens!
Tua get himself a nineteen. Whole world is saying thirteen. Get it right! He’s a smart kid.

that's from an Athletic article on QBs in the draft
fricking savage

Don’t tell Sandberg that.
He has Chris Hogan posters in his room that he beats off to.

How about putting your whole franchise on a right-handed, beat-up, 6-foot quarterback?

better odds than the lefty if everything else is equal

If nfl personnel guys were good at evaluating QBs, id put some stock into that
Unless it’s the guy that drafted Watson, Mahomes or Lamar Jackson, a franchise QB hasn’t been drafted into the afc anytime recently lol

i know it's just one scout. it was just a very brutal way of summarizing Tua
i have no opinion of Tua as an NFL prospect b/c his scouting profile is a big I for incomplete. i got no dog in the fight

McGinn is more trustworthy

If he can get a redshirt year or even 2, teams are going to be kicking themselves. I don’t think he slips anyway tbh

Chalky will you take the wonderlic without cheating? Post your answers and I’ll give you your score

I mean it really doesn’t matter if it is 13 or 19 bc they are both pretty bad. I would be more worried about the statement in regards to Tua struggling to pick up pro style concepts if there is truth there. The fact that he has only ran RPO is a red flag in itself. However if he is there at 24 you need to take him and see what you got with him.

Everyone is doing RPO stuff. The Saints have for years under Payton. Lamar Jackson, Mahomes, Russell Wilson, Deshaun Watson, Dak. Eagles won a SB doing that.
“Pro style concepts” are dying. Sarkisian ruined a Falcons offends under Shanahan that liked to use RPOs, and was promptly fired. If that tells you anything.
You ask most casual fans and they don’t even know what a RPO is.

Chalky is a 13-15 wonderlic type guy imo

i mean if he's there at 24 we have to roll the dice
but how much earlier is it a good pick? i don't know, but i think it's closer to 24 than 1

Not totally but they do seem more archaic. Still, Saints and 49ers are pro style and have great offenses but I also think they will slowly fade as QBs become more and more like Watson, Mahomes, Dak, Wentz, etc.
I’d love to see if Payton could adjust his offense to incorporate a lot of those concepts to help his QB out. I’d like to think he would

The west coast version the saints run is not far off from what Tua does. It fits his physical traits rather nicely. And it has RPO concepts. It has for years.
