I would bet everything on Stroud being a bust.

Outside of saying he plays for Ohio State, do you have any reasoning?

I would not trade up for any of the QBs entering the draft this year

I want Jameis for different reasons. So he will get Allen fired next year and we will have a higher pick to get either Maye or Williams.

Still stand by my comment. Think I nailed it….

The only Ohio State game I watched last year was the playoff game against Georgia where he was outstanding. The guys I skeptical of are guys like Pickett that have one good year but we’re bad outside of that. But then there’s a Josh Allen whose college production screamed mediocre but had turned out great.

It’s the 6th game of the year. He has a lot of passing yards but his accuracy is very bad. Let’s hold off on this until a couple seasons.

Stafford and Stroud lead the league with 37 poor balls. Pickett at 35. He throws a poor throw every 5.8 attempts. Compared to Carr every 7.2. Pickett is the worst at 4.6. Stafford is 6.1.

He and Mac Jones are the only two Qbs with less than 130 completions throwing it 200+ times.

He is legit bottom tier on bad passes. Let’s see if that improves before making him the GOAT.

I still stand by my comments, the price would have been too high and it’s more the OC here not the players. Saints shut down Texans in second half after some adjustments the Texans did not shut down the saints, we were our own worst enemy. I wish DA would have gotten a real OC

Yea when I watch CJ Stroud play I think “inaccurate”. Good grief.

Same with Matt Stafford. He’s been so inaccurate that he’s on his way to the hall of fame!

CJ Stroud for a rookie qb on honestly a lack of talent team has played great football.

Any person would take Stroud over Carr for several reasons- talent, money, potential, production, athleticism, etc. He’s literally thrown one pick in 6 games and has lead a shitty texans team to 3-3. Unlike ours, their defense is horrendous and they have No names at wrs. Hes likely rookie of the year and will be a great player in this league.

Yea I would not let actual stats get in the way of your eyes. Stafford has been bad this season. Which is what is used. This season.

I liked stroud more than any QB in that draft but I still wouldn’t have traded what would have been needed to get him.

It’s a very mid class
