Get some draft capital for Taysom and let him play for a team that can really use his skillset.

Can you imagine what Mahomes and Reid could do with Taysom?

No one is giving up a second rounder for Taysom.

I doubt you're getting a 2nd for Taysom. Great player. But doesn't really have a place in KC.

Post less. Watch less football. Yeah I'm Andy Reid and I'm giving up a 2nd for a 34 year old player. There's a reason he's been to 4 Super Bowls

You don't think he's worth it? Or do you think teams don't see him the same way?

I guarantee the Chiefs would see the value after playing against McCaffrey in the SB. Plus Kelce had some gadget plays in him when he was younger so Reid knows how to use players like that.

Maybe it'll never happen, but I'd love to see Taysom go to a team that could really maximize his abilities and let him get a ring.

Hill might be the missing ingredient for an erratic Chiefs offense this year.

Guys his age don’t have that trade value. Look at what other vets have been traded for recently.

If he didn't get hurt I wouldn't be so sure. You could get a 3rd for him.

Eat a bag of dicks.

The only team I've followed longer than the Chiefs is the Saints. And IMO Taysom (or McCaffery, or another such player) is exactly the type of player that could settle down the Chiefs offense after all the injuries this year.

Yeah, probably won't happen but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be a good idea, even if it was for a 3rd instead of a 2nd. And this is a message board where people can, you know, discuss things.

Oh, and BTW you and your snide arse can eat a bag of dicks.

Nobody is giving anything for taysom. Not a 7th much less a 2nd. The idea that a team would give a 2nd round pick for an oft injured running qb is insane.

Davante Adams says "Hi".

Age makes less of a difference if a player is the missing piece that can put a team over the top. And if you've watched any Chiefs games this year you'd know that Taysom would be a perfect fit in that offense.

Adams has much more value than Hill, and he went for a 3rd round pick. I love Taysom, but I think you have a homer’s view of his trade value. Amari Cooper, who also has more value than Hill, also just went for a third.

Davante is 31, one of the best receivers in the league, at a position whose body doesn’t get annihilated almost every play.

They got him for a 3rd. Someone may give us a 6th or 7th to rent him but I’d rather keep him. He’s exciting and odds of a 7th changing the franchise seems low.

If we were only a year or two away from contending then I'd agree with you. But at this point I think the saints need to start a total rebuild.

I just don't see the value for the saints or Taysom of he stays for a few more years.

Plus, I really like Taysom and would love to see him get a ring before he retires.
