Yep. That's really all there is to it. Our OL has dominated all season and they were not good last night.

I think it is a combination of: Armstead was out, they are tired from playing 3 games in 11 days, and they have had a weird schedule / are off their usual week script.

The 3 extra days of rest and return to regular weeks should help us a lot hopefully.

Play Call and Personnel was awful. We should have had our bigger back Ingram in on that play.

Smith dropping his only easy TD Target sure didn't help

I thought we look lethargic on offense as a whole. The line was moved around, Kamara had what I think was his worst game as a Saint...he looked uninspired, the receivers dropped passes. Not sure how that happens considering its a big prime time game. Not what I expected for sure.

Terrible play all. Why not use their aggressiveness against them and fake the handoff.... Or just throw it up to thomAs and let him make a play.

the blocking is worse. peat...good lord, he gets knocked on his back.

Oh, yeah I agree. This play wasn't Bushrod's fault. It was a bad playcall. But this year even on weird or bad playcalls our OL has been so dominant that stuff happened anyway. In a lot of games this year, the OL probably gets a ton of push and Kamara walks in anyway. Wasn't happening last night.

honestly we haven't looked particularly sharp the last 2 weeks on offense, this mini bye is much needed.

I'm sure it wasn't meant to be a zone read, but if Brees reads the end and pulls it, he probably walks into the end zone. Would have been the last thing the defense would have expected.

Yep. If you're going to run that play, at least have Taysom at QB.

I actually disagree in this particular situation. With Brees at QB, nobody on the field was keying on him to run. I'm not a fan of seeing him take any unnecessary hits, but I don't think he would have been touched.

Had Hill lined up at QB, the defense would have been more inclined to sell out on the run.

I was mad we didn’t toss to kamara. He’s deadly on that play at the goal line.

It looked to be like SP made that call to prove a point. "frick thier d-line...I'll show them" kind of a thing. Problem is, our o-line wasn't playing well.

I agree - lots of dropped passes, but the offensive line didn't allow the Saints to every get into any sort of rhythm. Brees, I love the guy, but he isn't the best at stepping into the pocket due to the guards being driven back. He's too short to consistently get the ball over the DTs arms to make an accurate throw. Dallas' CBs were all over our guys last night. They get major props. They were hands down the better team last night.

That would have made more sense than just running Kamara straight up the middle.
