Smith dropping his only easy TD Target sure didn't help

This was the biggest problem of the night. Arnold, Smith, Kamara, and Kirkwood all dropped passes that hit them in the hands, some of them did it on multiple occasions. At least the balls Thomas dropped were mostly contested. Was Brees off last night? Yes, but at least five catchable balls were dropped.

That's MUCH better than a jumbo set.

They're always going to have 1 more defender than linemen, so that's not really relevant. But if you go jumbo, you just add 3 more defenders in the area who can shed a block and make a play. The less the better. You should always, or mostly at least, spread it out on 3rd/4th and short IMO.

1st half you take the points. 2nd half you go for it.

There's never a situation in the 1st half where you don't go for it on 4th and goal at the 1 IMO.

You don't know what literally means. I'm taking the points. You can call me a pussy or whatever but if its the 1st half and its a close game, give me points.

I'm not calling you names, I'm telling you I would never ever ever kick a FG from the 1 yardline in the 1st half.

I did, on the road facing a fired up team and crowd you always take the points that early. shite call to go for it. And I'd stand by that statement even if if they scored.

Why? People say this but don't really have a good answer as to why.

Then they know with pretty good certainty you're running.

What if your starting Center, QB, and RB all get hurt on the previous play?

Without those 3, you're not likely to score many more points in that game, which puts points at an even bigger premium, and at that point it's just too important to pass up 7 points when you're 1 yard away.

Also, if we can keep it to realistic scenarios, that would be helpful lol. Yes, if every one of your QBs, RBs, and WRs are all out for the game, then yea, maybe you can consider kicking the FG.

Wait, maybe Bunchie was right.

If Nathan Peterman was my QB, I may consider just taking a knee...not literally.
