So how did we gain as a team from an individual celebration? We got a 15 yard penalty in the biggest game of the year. Only an idiot thinks giving up yards with nothing in return was a good investment.

A young and extremely talented WR Recreating an iconic Saints WR celebration after scoring a game clinching TD against an undefeated powerhouse NFC team to take the first spot in the NFL while simultaneously breaking thr saints single game receiving yards record was pretty cool. Stupid penalty, sure, but a fun thing to watch.
The last two years this saints team has just looked like they're having fun. Something that was missing for few years. 2013-2016 they kind of looked like they were just going through the motions of an exceptionally well crafted game plan, but without any joy in it. We have a huge crop of young talented players on both sides of the ball and last year they really came together. This year from the preseason press conferences to the lockerroom antics the team just seems to be functioning ton a higher level.

I love Thomas, but it was very stupid to get the penalty after seeing how fast L.A. scored at the end of the first half and after seeing how we lost the Minnesota game last year. Glad it worked out, but anyone who liked the penalty must be 13 or 14. I would’ve been ok with it if there were seconds left, but not that much time.

I’ve been saying and in the past have started threads saying we have no swag. Last year and this year we got swag. Horn did it in the middle of a game, I loved it.
