Him and Donald would be insane. Them plus that defensive backfield? Wowza

They can’t have much cap left. Possibly less than us?

He ain’t signing with the rams

??? Rams are actively renegotiating an extension to Aaron Donald's contract so why would they bring in Suh?

Way more than us, way less than Tenn. Rams have roughly $29 mil. Titans have roughly $49 mil (which is why them releasing their DT had nothing to do with making cap for Suh; it's cause he was underperforming).
We are about at the limit with Okafor counted. We likely have less than $5 mil left (hard to tell without seeing how much Morstead saved and Okafor's actual cap hit).
But really that all means nothing. We can make the space, just like other teams could, so worrying about cap is pointless. Any team that wants Suh can find the space for him.

Donald was playing DE under the new regime, plus even if he was still a DT you need two (in a 4-3).
Edit:
They were running a 3-4 last year and had moved Donald to DE and Quinn to OLB (with Barron playing one of the ILB spots).
Westbrooks was their NT and Suh would be a definite upgrade.
But again like Tenn they run a 3-4 and he may not want to play NT in a 3-4 so we'll see.

It's still a weird setup for them, though. Quinn was a MUCH more natural 4-3 RDE than anyone else on the team.
Donald, Brockers, Easley, and Suh would be an insane rotation of interior guys, but no proper ends. Suh + Donald would be a duo that terrifies offensive coordinators every week, though. Especially with that secondary. With that defense, you pretty much have to run at the edges to win.

And while the Titans have a solid DL
The Dline itself is pretty crappy. They have Casey and that's about it. Daquan Jones is the other end and they don't have a NT at the moment.
Now if you add in their OLBs they have a nice rush set with Morgan and Orakpo, with two good ILBs in Williamson and Woodyard.
But the line itself is rather weak.

The Ram's 3-4 was more like a traditional 4-3 than the Titans (which ran like a true Steelers style 3-4).
Quinn was still basically playing rush end and Donald was more like a 3 tech though playing a 5 tech iirc. Barron was really like a Will. Brockers was the big end and Westbrooks played the nose. You had Barwin who would rush at times too so it was a little bit of a mix.
It's pretty much like the hybrid we ran in 2013.

That dude is milking this to the max. frick that guy, he can go. He's doesn't fit our lockeroom or salary cap.

Pretty sure they transitioned to a 3-4 because they had Robert Quinn listed as an OLB

Yup check my edit. Donald was playing end, but was still playing sort of a DT type role (just a little more split out).
But their NT wasn't really much to write home about. He managed some sacks (4) but not much in the way of tackles.
If they signed Suh he would be replacing him, and I don't think Suh wants to play the nose in a 3-4 (despite being a hybrid 3-4, the nose still gets doubled nearly every play; in a 4-3 you can shift the front to change roles play to play).

He’s probably not agile enough to play a DE in a 3-4 like Donald, no?

He occasionally kicked out to end, but down to down it's not where he should be.
He could play LE in a 3-4 perhaps, but then you wouldn't want Donald playing the nose in a 3-4.
Unless they go back to a 4-3 you're looking at Brockers at RE, Suh at NT, and Donald at LE. Not sure if Suh would like that.
Edit:
Part of why he likes the 4-3 is because he's really good at stunting. There's not much stunting in a 3-4 with the nose as he's supposed to anchor the middle and a stunt opens the middle up too wide.
You usually do your stunting with an end/olb combo in a 3-4.
So while it'd be a better fit than Tenn, it's still a 3-4 and I don't know if he'd accept that role given what happened his first year in Miami.

The idea of Donald and Suh on the same line is downright terrifying.
On a side note, during this whole Suh thing and free agency in general, I’ve been lurking on other teams message boards, checking out what they are saying about some of the FA’s on the market, especially the teams in the market for Suh or dreaming about being one of the teams in the running. The Titans one, in particular, has had almost the same vicious rollercoaster of unbridled hope & uneasiness as Saints Talk. I wouldn’t doubt that Titans fans, like Saints fans, are suffering from acute cases of F5 carpal tunnel.
But I just went to multiple “Rams” message boards. Good god, they are all ghost towns. Maybe one to a handful of replies regarding threads over Suh possibly visiting. The Rams don’t have true fans. Which would make it suck all the more should Suh pick that team.

I want the Saints to get Suh so I can see him stomp some Falcon heads.

LA fans are terrible. Very few diehards. And I imagine most of the StL fans abandoned them after the move.
