I can't speak for anyone else but I may never fully get over this. Maybe when a full impartial investigation is conducted. I don't for 1 second believe that #60 did not see the fouls. Not for one second do I believe that #13 did not see the fouls. Neither do I believe that they just froze. Not buying it. #60 did not hesitate in his decision. He knew exactly what he was going to do. These 2 had the best seats in the house. Don't fool yourselves in real time at real speed everyone saw what happened except all the ones charged with enforcing the obvious penalty. These are the cream of the crop and they are the only ones out of millions that didn't see this. Sorry just not buying it. The national media won't risk bringing this in to question but it's there in the back of every ones mind. I don't owe the trolls a f.....g answer as to why I won't get over this if they don't get it, tough shitinski but the NFL owes me and every other ticket buying , jersey buying fan a full unbiased investigation and an explanation. They can make you chew on a turd but that doesn't mean you have to swallow it.

They need to be fired, period.

Been going to saints games since I was a kid, I will never get over this game, and this has possibly ruined my love of football!!

With everyone saying it was a flat out cheat move, and most saying it’s the worse no call in NFL history, the silence of the NFL shows 100% guilt.

What is the point of watching football if this shite is going on? I’m done truly done.

I can live with an honest mistake but that's not what happened here and the league knows it.

I’ll never get over it.

I don’t think it’s a conspiracy but just a blown call that cost the Saints a Super Bowl right as the window for Drew Brees era is being shut. We may never get an opportunity like that again.

For me this is the second biggest tragedy that’s happened to our city in the modern age.

I still bear ill will toward the girl who dumped our Center on my high school basketball team an hour before the game which decided district champion and revealed that she had been cheating on him. 18 points and 10 rebounds a night went down to 4 and 2 for that game with no will for defense.

I can hold a grudge for a bit.

If you can look at that play and still convince yourself the league is not rigged then let me tell you a story about Santa Claus, and the Easter bunny, and the magical all powerful invisible sky daddy that created the universe in 7 days.

The referee is standing RIGHT frickING THERE.

I do not think it is that complex or conspiratorial.

They got it grossly wrong because three officials did not do their job,

The back judge thought the ball was tipped and came runing it so adamnantly the side judge let him make the call rather than doing his job. the head referee is thin skinned and was gunshy about overturning the other officials' decision by throwing the flag or calling a conference because he felt pressure from articles alluding he had cost LA 8 games in a row.

The "it's just a game get over it" people can get fricked. It was more than just a game to some. My dad has cancer is not projected to make through the summer much less through another football season. Had the Saints gone to the Super Bowl I was going to pay whatever it took to get there if he was physically able to make the trip. Would have been a memory I kept with me forever whether we won or lost in Atlanta. I didn't even plan on posting this and am not looking for sympathy responses but that non call cost the city a ton of money and it's fans memories that can not be replaced.

The "just a game" crowd can shampoo my crotch. The things that are dearly important to us outside of our immediate safety and security are what differentiate us from the animals and makes us HUMAN BEINGS. These things are part of the tapestry of our life.

I will never fully get over this. It won’t ruin my life or have any lasting drastic effects, but I think it ruined the NFL for me forever. Miserable and avoidable outcome.

I certainly won’t get over it. Maybe ever. This was a special year for me because my 5 year old boy was finally into them and he loved wearing his saints gear. At school they let them wear saints gear on Fridays. I really really wanted this Super Bowl because it may have been our last opportunity at least for a long time. Drew is a special player and the odds of having another QB like him are slim to none IMO. So I really don’t want to hear get over it either. I’m not moping around all depressed but it really hurts this year.

There have been signs that the NFL has been rigging outcomes for years. Their handling of controversy, like boutygate, spygate, deflate gate. Bury one team then slap another on the wrist. The first Atlanta game against the Saints last year. NFL needed to keep Atlanta in the playoff hunt. Remember all the horrible one sidedcalls against the Saints in that one. The NFL WILL NOT let its billion dollar industry be “just a game” as many on this board are trying to convince themselves.

Are you fricking blind? How many bad calls that determine the outcome will it take for you to believe the NFL is fixed? 3 helmet to helmet hits vs the Saints and not once call. You are delusional.

If people simply "got over" horrendous officiating we wouldn't have instant replay at all. That took years of constant pressure on the league.

Like I said in another thread, how long did it take LSU fans to get over USC claiming the AP national championship? Way more than 5 days.

Til the day I die you will never convince me that it was a missed call. 2 refs staring right at it!!! No way they didn’t see that. It is impossible for 2 different refs to not call that. This has ruined the NFL for me. It hurts the most to know that we went all in this year. Deep down I know that we may never sniff a super bowl again in my lifetime. This one hurts, big time. I will always support the Saints, but the rest of the NFL can get fricked. Who dat!!

the "get over it" crowd is full of self righteous pricks being contrarian in a failed attempt to seem more cool headed and intelligent than the rest of us. and frick them for painting us into a corner saying we are conspiracy theorist / need tin foil hats / etc. I don't believe in any of that bullshite. I believe it was a blown call. The worst there has ever been on that stage.

i won't get over it. i will be bitter and petty about that game and that play for a long time. A fricking SuperBowl was in the grasp of our team, city, and state. The greatest QB and Coach to ever dawn the B&G, lost their opportunity for a 2nd SuperBowl. And this team, city, and state may never have that opportunity again. Not in our lifetime at least.

Because it was stolen from us due to ignorance and cowardice.

If you want to know where I'm at on the chart of grieving. I'm squarely between Denial and Anger. I'd be locked away for a long time if i ran into anyone from that officiating crew in person right now.

The trolls are grasping at straws, I know my scaling may be off, but send them this image:

I don't care if their rebuttal is Bountygate, Saints should have won, Tuck Rule...there has never been a more detrimental call in the history of the NFL.
