I like him. My only knock is he’s got to improve in the red zone getting TD’s instead of FG’s. That’s an issue with most young QB’s though.

This is the best Rattler has looked. Maybe the win is what he needed but with the way he’s playing there’s no way I’m thinking QB in round 1

OK, he's playing in control and not trying to be THE MAN. He will probably not be the reason the Saints lose.

Most of those losses came with Rattler playing with practice squad wrs and a battered OL.

Were you one of the tank for Nuss and arch guys?

Rattler isn’t the problem with this team.

He’s played five games with a real coach. Saying he isn’t the answer is stupid. Guy has the tools to be a good qb and he’s improving each week. Some of you are too fixated with the draft.

Let me know when he can actually lead a red zone scoring drive.

Again, he’s playing better and he has arm talent. I don’t think he can elevate a team around him, he needs better players to elevate him. I don’t want to draft a QB this year. Read what I read and my other posts. I want a legit DE or true #1 WR.

he is still having a few inaccurate throws. They are being caught today at least though.

What a dumb thing to say. If his throws were inaccurate, they wouldn't be caught.

Improving every week and he will be a bonafide starter in this league.

I predicted his progression from the very beginning and he will win a Super Bowl for us at some point.

Not me! I’m fixated on the Saints’ W/L record with him as QB1.

Hard to improve the team drafting a 3rd/4th round qb with a top 40 pick.

He is playing well enough to keep Schough on the bench.

A) Since when do we let the QB off of the hook because of a bad supporting cast? Do we now only expect an NFL QB making QB1 money to play well only when he has a perfect pocket and WR’s who never drop balls?

B) No. Not only would it be patently illegal to tank a season, I don’t see any wisdom whatsoever in taking so everyone can hang their hopes on an as of yet unnamed college player without a singe snap of NFL experience.

Come to think of it, though, I can’t think of a college QB draft prospect with a worse record as a starting QB as ol’ Rattler…

So we just give him a pass for making bad decisions and throwing inaccurate balls?

He didn’t score one TD. Against a pretty average team.

I am glad he is progressing. I want him to improve. I think most of it is Kellen Moore and what he does for QBs. Bobby was talking about the difference between Drake Maye and Rattler. He was complimentary of Rattler being decent and not costing us games. He was describing the start by Maye being a franchise QB. He is over 100 QB rating in his last 5 games and looks the part. Rattler is fine, but I hope the Saints can find their version of Drake Maye. Bobby was commenting on the difference in talent level between the 2.
