Only if the Falcons fire him first. Don't want those clowns to get a comp pick.

We sent one of our own to wreck their team. Good work, Terry.

40 million dead money cap hit for a 3rd. That's fricking brutal

But after the draft so the league can't try to take our comp pick back

And just one 3rd rd pick at that. Carson Wentz was traded for two 3rd rd picks.
Add on swallowing the 40M dead cap hit, and Fontenot fvcked over the Falcons perfectly.

Can someone please photoshop Terry into this picture.

With that cap hit they shouldn't have traded him. Plus you can't expect much considering they owe him like 8 million that the Colts will have to pay now.

I think these ppl think Ryan is more valuable than he is.

Did he, though? Ridley’s already out this year. Seems like they’re just punting on ‘22 and should be in the running for the top pick next year.

Absolutely, which makes sense. Just getting a 3rd is a big miss though.

For '22, hell yes.
3 days ago, they had (irrational) SB dreams with Waton in 22. Now, they are fvcked for this season.
And as promising as Stroud & Young have played for OSU & Bama, I'm hard-pressed to name a difference-making NFL QB from those schools, much less a franchise QB worth tanking for.

Just need to infiltrate the Rams and Bucs and the NFC should be wide open

They were going to have that huge cap hit either way. Ryan is 37.
Take the extra 3rd, suck this year, and grab a qb in the 2023 draft. They needed to rebuild.

Good gracious... that board is almost as bad as tRant...
Matty Ice had a horrific contract that no one in their right mind would trade for. It was basically a fire sale.
Curious what his restructured contract will look like.
