people putting names on waiting list for a rebuild that could take years
Posted on 9/25/17 at 4:30 pm to tgrbaitn08
I'll be shocked if the NFL doesn't come up with something better to end this protest yet let the players have their stupid "voice" on this issue.

The waiting list is a myth. I have 4 in sec 111 very close to the field if anyone wants to buy them at face and take them over. They’re going to have a sub 500 year, Brees will be gone, and this is the straw that broke the WhoDat’s sack.

This reminds me of all the stories of muslims and mexicans fabricating hate crimes the day after Trump was elected.

had you told me it was friends of yours that wanted to sit directly behind you i would have believed you originally.
like i said, dont really care. Demand isnt there like it used to be and the wait list isnt close to 70k

Like many, I am also excited about this because less crybaby snowflakes will be at games and I'll move up on the waiting list.

Cool, if that happens then in a few years when there's not a team in New Orleans anymore you can go to the stadium and sit anywhere you want for free!

Wow. If this keeps up and tremendous amounts of people start boycotting the NFL and refusing to attend Saints games, the Superdome will start....
...looking like Tiger Stadium on Saturday nights.
Also, for those who complain about players remaining seated or kneeling during the playing of the National Anthem because they feel that "players have no right to express their political feelings at that time and place", I would ask what exactly is insisting that all of the players stand and declare allegiance to a piece of cloth in the first place? Just an demand that they express a political opinion that they may not necessarily share. Does the league have the right to "fire" those players who refused to express the political opinion that the league may find expedient? Of course. Freedom of speech protects us from government retaliation, not from action from employers.
Should the league follow this course, however, they'll be doing so in opposition to the spirit of our founding fathers, who clearly felt that the validity of political opinion had no basis in the popularity of that opinion.

There's still a marquee game or two each year against a team with a rabid fan base that travels well and drives up prices (e.g. Dallas, NE). We couldn't make the NE game and sold $35 seats for $175 each, after fees (buyer paid $195).
They sold 6 weeks before the game, and yes, prices always drop as the game nears. We only make a few Saints games each year, and the tix we sell more than pay for the games we attend, plus help subsidize our LSU tix. We'd likely lose a bundle if face value was $250+ however, as you'd never get multiples of face on any "big" game to cover losses on a game like Tampa on New Year's eve.

I just called my ticket rep, whom I know personally, and they unequivocally told me this is far, far from the truth.

You seem to forget we now live in a "post-truth" world. If they say it, it makes it so.

Turn on the TV, read the news, look at social media. You really think fans aren’t calling their ticket offices with threats of cancelling their tickets or wanting refunds? Man what world do y’all live in?
Yeah, I saw it on FoxNews!
