Dak Missing this throw is a normal occurrence and how their wasnt close. Brees is the most accurate QB to play the game and hit the WR in the #s and he dropped it.

This isn't exactly even lol

On a drive that should have been over already when the white WR's knee was down a full yard short. You keep missing calls, like that and targeting x 2, you change the complexion of the game.

That's my issue. Had we lost to a good team I wouldn't be concerned as losing to an average team

That's why I'll take an elite defense any day of the week. When a high potent offense gets punched in the mouth you can kiss that game goodbye. Our defense is downright insanely good. Dallas and Chicago have the best defense in the league.

What about when Randy Gregory wasn't in the neutral zone and we get a strip sack deep in saints territory that's negated? Does that change the complexion of the game?

You caught 90% of the breaks and barely won, in today’s NFL I’ll take our offense over your D. This team coming off the bye, in the dome will win by multiple scores. I’ll bet you whatever you’d like if we see a rematch.

Kamara looked like he wasn’t making the cuts and setting up blocks like he usually does. Looked like he didn’t want to be out there tonight.

I hate the both teams got bad calls nonsense. The calls that Michael Thomas didn’t get make up the bad calls against Dallas all on their own. Also, the both teams got bad calls is usually an admission by the winning team that the losing team got screwed.

I’d be scared too if I found out NFL had essentially given Dallas carte blanche to target heads

Let’s give credit to that Dallas D. Their DLine exposed Bushrod and Ram really struggled. Unger was mauling mother fookers and never lost his edge. Dallas was also making excellent tackles all night, Vander Esch and that safety (38?) were playing free from Dallas’s exceptional Dline play. It’s of no fault to Kamara, IMO, the holes just weren’t there and and the LBs had free roam to perimeter.

I feel our WRs had the worst game of the season and are probably most at fault for our offensive bugaboos. Yes, Drew was off from the Dallas pressure but he was still throwing catchable balls whereas the WRs, including Kamara, were dropping them. That TD pass was pure luck which is no knock on Brees as the pass was where it needed to be, but Kirkwood should not have been there. That was Smiths TD.

To the point of your subject line, both RBs had bad games as a result of a very good Dallas D. Not many teams can play man with the Saints and still pressure Brees. Dallas’s familiarity with Apple really hurt our chances of winning, thankfully Apple responded and we still had an opportunity at the end of the fourth. Drew Brees made the right decision to get rid of the ball when he threw that pick as a sack would have been almost similarly disastrous. The defender made a great undercut on the route and picked the ball off.

Everyone on this board is doom and gloom after this loss but in my mind it’s a good thing. The team now can refocus and the offense can play with a chip on its shoulder. Drew will come back from this as he is true competitor and look to make a statement against Tampa. This loss and the impending game against Tampa could play as the perfect storm for momentum into the playoffs seeing as this is our revenge game. We really need Armstead back.

Me too Hoodoo. Maybe because we were home when we played the Rams. Also, the start of the game last night went exactly the way Dallas needed it too. Having zero challenges left before the 1st quarter ended was icing on the cake for them.

Not sure why yuh got downvoted. How many runs or Catches 20 yards or more this year vs last? Ypc average? It’s not close. He has a long run every game last year from game 4 on.

This is going to shock you but Kamara only ran a 4.6 40. He isn’t that fast.

I conveyed this observation last night that something wasn’t right, and was attacked by some fagboys on here

In the end, it looked to me like the entire team was EXHAUSTED.......like they had hit a wall. Hopefully these extra days of rest will help recharge their batteries. I haven’t seen them look that sluggish in a long time.
