Absolutely no way you can say that. Anything can happen in the playoffs and that’s especially true if the Saints played up to their potential.

GB isn’t as good as a healthy MN. Or at least the one that played today.

I agree. Nothing in the Payton/Brees era suggests we will advance in playoffs. With the exception of one super bowl run year, the coaching and play of the Saints has been just deplorable in the playoffs. The Saints truly are not any type of playoff threatening team. Any opposing team in the playoffs should embrace the opportunity to play the Saints. Regular season they dominate but come playoffs, the coaching and performance of the players takes a complete back seat to being on top of their game. It’s almost embarrassing....correction.....it’s utterly embarrassing.

It’s really hard to win a Super Bowl. That’s why many teams still haven’t. When you couple that with the league’s hatred of Sean Payton it’s about impossible.

Clearly you don’t remember the early 90s. Those teams loved choking in the playoffs as well.

The Saints are a better team in terms of talent and overall scheme but Sean Payton was thoroughly outcoached today. I've always wondered why teams don't rush the middle to flush breathe out. He isn't mobile to the outside and he needs them to create an open space in the middle for him to see
