Shame it took Dennis Allen going 0-7 for the Saints to cut ties with him. Rizzi wins you at least 3 of the games, if not 4. With this division the Saints are likely tied or leading for 1st in another terrible NFC South.

I can’t say he’s the answer going forward, but the team plays hard for him and he has them ready to play despite an injury-depleted roster. For such a disappointing season, it’s been nice seeing the team give it their all.

So? You dont get style points.

Its not unrealistic to say they could have gotten another win or 2 and been in position to be where the bucs are now.

They more than likely beat Carolina, and maybe take one of the Atlanta/Philly loses.

Rizzi is that guy that walks around fast at the office to make it look like he’s busy. Stop letting his mean faces fool you. He’s not the guy.

This team is so injury ravaged. Several weeks ago, they had actual NFL receivers.

Pretty much all I’m saying. Rizzi has the team ready to play. Dennis Allen did not.

So who are our receivers again? That's why you only put up 17 points.

And CLE is a 3 win team. Koo missed 3 FGs in a 3 point win. I like Rizzi’s fire but let’s keep perspective.

We can barely score 20 points a game. We only scored 14 today. We’re a nightmare.

If you said some players mailed it in because of Dennis Allen, I'd believe you.

But people forget how bad offensively we were ravaged. We're talking missing the QB, 3 interior linemen, 2 starting wrs, your backup wrs, and backup rb.

It was a bad bad time.

Rizzi sucks

Got out-coached and embarrassed in the Rams game, which eliminated us from any playoff consideration

If Dennis Allen was this lucky on every opposing kicker now missing every FGA vs. NO then we would have been like 6-3 and kept him.

Omg no

See this is why we needed to lose this game. Because if the widow buys into this meaningless (actually... harmful) little run and hires this guy as HC there goes another 3 years

Yeah, but I like his energy compared to Dennis Allen's "I need life support attitude." Rizzi's "lose control, hair on fire attitude " is a breath of fresh air for me after watching Allen bore me to death. He probably won't get the head coach job, but at least they're playing ball better, I think, under him. The last 2 games have been a struggle, and I feel like they should be on a 4 game win streak right now. They should have or could have beaten the Rams last week, but hey, at least we know that the Rams are legit in coming back to win that game. I mean look what they did to Buffalo yesterday, Buffalo is a playoff bound team, and they torched them for 44 points. But I hope they keep playing somewhat inspired football under Rizzi, they'll need it with Jayden Daniels coming up. New Orleans is terrible defensively against running QBs. Smh

To say Rizzi would make this team a playoff contender is a stretch, he adds a little ump to the morale, but that's a bandaid solution. You still having aged players with bad contracts, constant injury issues as well, a putrid offense with a predictable scheme. Your second highest player in Cam Jordan is essentially a backup at this point in his career. If you already had the players in place, then Rizzi could probably run the ship, but there are so many issues with this team, I think someone coming in from the outside with a fresh mindset, an offensive mindset at that, would be the better option
